Greece flew out the traps in World Cup qualifying by thrashing Belarus 5-1 and now host Denmark tonight in a crunch Group C game.
The Danes could only draw 0-0 with the Scots at home in their opener and looked a bit devoid of ideas, with only two attempts on target all night.
While they seem to be a team in decline, the Greeks are very much on the up and they can take command of the group with a win in front of a partisan crowd tonight.
Greece vs Denmark top betting tips
Based on the peformances of both sides on Friday night, I fancy Greece to edge this one with home advantage and they're a decent 13/10 at BoyleSports for the win.
Although Denmark are a tough side to break down, they still handed Scotland a few sights of goal in Copenhagen and Lyndon Dykes wasted an excellent chance to pinch the points for Steve Clarke's men.
Greece's home games have been thrillers of late, with Ivan Jovanovic's men scoring four times or more against Slovakia, Bulgaria and Belarus.
That suggests we will see a few goals tonight so I like the 21/20 on offer at BoyleSports for over 2.5 goals.
Belarus vs Scotland
Scotland boss Clarke would have been delighted with the point he banked in Denmark but his side now need to follow it up with a win over Belarus.
This is the kind of fixture that has ruined many a qualification campaign for the Scots but they have avoided a trip to Minsk with Belarus still playing their ‘home' games at neutral venues.
This one will be played behind closed doors in Hungary and the bookies can't see Scotland slipping up against a side who were so poor in that heavy defeat to Greece.
Clarke's side still look far too short for me at 8/15 with BoyleSports and the best value is probably in the player markets.
Every Belarusian player is odds-against for a shot on target and I like the 10/3 on offer at Bet365 for forward Max Ebong to test Scots keeper Gunn. He's also a whopping 20/1 for over 1.5 efforts on target.
Despite being under pressure for most of the game on Friday, Scotland still managed to win four corners. They should have more of the ball in this one so I like over 6.5 Scots corners at 5/4.
Israel vs Italy
Rino Gattuso got his reign as Italy boss off to a good start by thrashing Estonia 5-0 but he now has a tougher game on the road against Israel.
The Azzurri are playing catch up in Group I after losing their opener 3-0 in Norway, a result that cost Luciano Spalletti his job.
Israel have won three of their four games so far and if they can shock the Italians tonight it would leave even a play-off place in danger for the four-time world champions.
Failing to qualify for three World Cups in a row is unthinkable for Italy and they're fortunate that tonight's game is another tie being played in neutral Hungary.
BoyleSports make them 4/9 favourites tonight and going for goals could be the best move, with BTTS and over 2.5 goals coming up in three of Israel's four qualifiers so far.
Combining those bets tonight pays 13/10 at BoyleSports and I also fancy Mateo Retegui for a goal at 21/20 after his double against Estonia.
