THE second semi-final of the revamped Spanish Super Cup takes place tonight in the distant destination of Saudi Arabia.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid go head to head for the chance to face Real Madrid in the final and it looks a tight one to call.
The sides shared eight bookings when they met in La Liga last month – Lionel Messi's late goal gave Barca a 1-0 win – and with tonight's referee Jose Gonzalez having shown 44 yellows and two reds in his eight matches this season, another feisty affair wouldn't be a surprise.
If he starts, take Atletico's midfield enforcer Thomas Partey to add to his impressive crime count. The Ghanaian is his club's most booked player this season – nine cards in 23 appearances – and has been carded both times he's started against Barca.
Partey has also had his name taken both times Gonzalez has officiated an Atletico game this season – against Real Madrid and Sevilla – and same again is worth backing.
Bet of the Day
- Thomas Partey to be carded
- (7-5, William Hill)
Great bet well in ??
