VALENCIA grabbed their first win in six matches last weekend and could do with adding another tonight to bolster their fading European hopes.
They head to an Alaves side who look clear of relegation danger in 13th place and are decent on their own patch with three league defeats at home this season.
Goals catches the eye here – Alaves' last six at home have all featured both teams scoring. Valencia have drawn a blank in two successive La Liga away days, but prior to that they netted in nine on the spin.
They can breach an Alaves backline that struggles to keep clean sheets, and goals at both ends is an appealing price.
