Mark Walker's Scottish Tips

It's the final weekend of the Premiership and there's still plenty to be decided even though the destination of the title was decided a long time ago.

And the pick of the bets could be Dundee United to dump Aberdeen at 9/5 with McBookie.com and leapfrog the Dons into fourth place.

Both sides go into this shootout at Tannadice in dismal form. United have lost all four of their play-off games while Aberdeen have lost their last three and conceded nine goals to the Old Firm, who both had nothing to play for.

But with United needing the win, this could develop into a real slugfest and the hosts appear to relish a battle far more than a very timid Aberdeen team.

Jimmy Thelin's side have collapsed defensively, look soft all over the park and go into their shells as soon as they lose a goal…which they have been doing a lot of lately.

It's not a bet for the faint-hearted – United manager Jim Goodwin has now lost all nine games after the split as Terrors boss over three seasons.

But they won't get a bigger soft touch than Aberdeen and could end the season on a high.

Hearts look to be some value to win at Kilmarnock at 13/8 with McBookie.com in what could be a very curious occasion.

Killie have placed manager Derek McInnes on gardening leave after he agreed to be the new manaer of Hearts. Killie fans made it clear what they thought of the decision and the Ayrshire club sensibly decided against a circus and a toxic atmosphere on Sunday.

They are also on their holidays as they proved by a 3-0 midweek defeat at Motherwell and it's hard to see what motivation they could have.

On the other hand, you would have thought Hearts would want to impress their new manager and they have been in excellent form since they axed Neil Critchley, with Liam Fox doing a fine job as caretaker.

Rangers could end the Barry Ferguson era by seeing off Hibs at Easter Road at evens with McBookie.com.

Hibs confirmed their third place qualification in midweek after a 2-2 draw at St Mirren and this has end of season affair written all over it.

It's almost certainly going to be Ferguson's last game in charge of Rangers and his players do seem to genuinely have respect for him.

And they might have too much for a partying Hibs at Easter Road.
