IT’S all about the Championship tonight and two tasty derbies are the highlights of a full card.
Ayr United v Kilmarnock
Ayr will be out for revenge at Somerset Park after losing 2-0 to Kilmarnock on the opening day.
Killie have conceded in their last four so both teams to score could be the shout, although the odds aren’t great at 5/6 with most firms.
The half-time draw appeals more at 11/10 (McBookie) while backing some cards could also pay off.
Blair Alston looks overpriced at 7/2 with McBookie after two cards in his last three games while Ayr’s Andy Murdoch is 3/1.
Dunfermline v Raith Rovers
There’s also a Fife derby tonight and Dunfermline remain bottom of the pile despite losing just one of their last seven matches.
That’s because Peter Grant’s side drew the six other games, with three of those stalemates failing to see a goal.
But it was quite an open game when they drew 1-1 with Raith at Stark’s Park so I’ve a feeling we’ll see some goalmouth action when the local rivals clash again.
Both teams to score is just 7/10 with most firms so that’s best avoided but over 2.5 goals is a bit better at 10/11 (SportingIndex).
McBookie have a market on cards and Dunfermline’s Dan Pybus looks decent value at 9/4 after picking up four yellows so far this term.
Inverness v Arbroath
Leaders Inverness host Arbroath and look decent value at 20/21 (Boylesport) for the win as Dick Campbell’s men haven’t won on their last two road trips.
Caley Thistle won 1-0 at Arbroath so betting against BTTS might pay off here at 6/5 with SkyBet.
Morton v Partick Thistle
Partick look decent value at 6/5 (SBK) for a win at struggling Morton.
Hamilton v Queens of the South
While a draw (5/2, Bet365) looks on the cards as Hamilton host Queen of the South.
