FRANCE were my antepost tip to win the Euros but they've got a tough route to the Final.

Spain, Germany, Italy and England have all landed in the same half so only one can make it to Paris on July 10.

I'm still hoping it's the French and they should end Republic of Ireland's adventure tomorrow.

France won their first two matches before resting players for the 0-0 draw against Switzerland but all the big guns will be out to face Martin O'Neill – Paul Pogba, Dimitri Payet, Olivier Giroud, Antoine Griezmann and co.

Ireland battled well to beat Italy but were lucky they faced a weakened side who'd qualified and were saving something for Spain.

The Irish were gubbed 3-0 by Belgium and could suffer a similar sort of defeat if they concede in the first half. I'm on France at 9-20 with Paddy Power and will consider them -1 Asian Handicap at 4-5 with bet365.

Arsenal star Giroud will know many of his opponents and is 9-2 at Coral to hit the opener. Same goes for Payet – a late scorer in the two games he's played – and the West Ham man is 9-4 at Ladbrokes to net.

France haven't netted before the break so a bet to consider is draw/France HT/FT at 11-4 with McBookie.
