THE Senior Open tips are going well with Ace Venturer's two picks – Bernhard Langer and Colin Montgomerie sitting first and joint second at halfway.
My only tip was Langer and the German looks unstoppable after storming into a seven-shot lead in Wales. Fair play to Monty for shooting a 66 on a score he says doesn't suit his game.
Langer is now no bigger than 1-5 with Paddy Power so anyone who backed can lay for a tidy profit. Monty is 7-1 at Stan James while Fred Couples is 28-1 third favourite at Ladbrokes and Paddy Power.

My tip in the triples on New Zealand at 13/2 has gone down as they were beat 19-17 by South Africa & that was the team New Zealand hammered this morning & what a chance they have missed because 8/13 pre tournament favourites Scotland were beaten
But my NAP Scotland pairs stormed into the semi final with yet another easy win & with Australia’s shock defeat to Namibia means its now Scotland’s gold to lose
