GIVE props to the fixture selector in the NBA this season as its brought up some big names on the final day of the regular schedule and there are some massive games tonight.
No more bigger than the Nuggets/Timberwolves matchup. Its win and in for either side. Its not a match I can bring myself to bet on a side as there’s too much at stake, and while the Timberwolves are favoured, at the end of the day they hold the last seed in the west so are no world beaters. I do like the alternate over here though.
Washington head to Orlando fighting for the 7th seed in the east. No team wants to face the Raptors and would much prefer a game against the Celtics without Kyrie. Expect Washington to come out on top as they did last night against Boston, with Miami at home to the Raptors who are still going for their win total but will likely face a tougher test.
Portland hosting Utah is another big game who with the winner locking up the 3rd west seed. If the Blazers lose, they could feasibly fall as low as the No. 5 seed if San Antonio beats New Orleans and Memphis beats OKC. By defeating the Warriors on Tuesday, Utah ensured that it will not fall below the No. 5 spot even with a loss to Portland.
The Pelicans host the Spurs with both teams tied with OKC in the middle of the west. The best the Pelicans can do is hang onto No. 5 with a win over San Antonio Wednesday, or fall as low as No. 8 depending on other outcomes. San Antonio still has a chance to get a top-four seed with a win, but they need Memphis to knock off OKC and Utah to beat Portland.
OKC are big favourites at home for good reason. They still have a path to a top-four seed, and there are actually pretty good odds of it happening. If OKC beats Memphis, and Portland beats the Jazz, no matter what else happens the Thunder will be No. 4.
Cleveland are big favourites at home to the Knicks. They can jump to No. 3 with a win and a Sixers loss to the Bucks. Cleveland cannot fall out of the No. 4 spot. Very short though so careful even on the alternate.
Milwaukee gets the No. 6 seed with a win over Philly. If the Bucks lose, they need Miami to also lose to Toronto and/or Washington to lose to Orlando.
The Heat need a win and a Milwaukee loss to jump into the No. 6 seed.
After beating Boston on Tuesday, Washington can still jump to No. 6 in one scenario: If they beat Orlando tonight, Philly beats Milwaukee and Toronto beats Miami. No. 7 and No. 8 are in play as well.
Small stakes and save your money for the post-season.

46 point quarter for the Embiidless 76ers ?
/took them at 18’s to win the east. Getting 40% profit offered on cash out already ??
The 76ers have 80 first half points and Simmons has 0 ???
I feel like the 76ers are going to struggle adapting to having Embiid back in the playoffs.
They’re playing nice team basketball at the moment and he’s got the 3rd highest usage in the league slowing it all down.
The Magic benched their starters at HT and the Wizards can’t take the lead against their G league guys. ?
Trying bless em ?
Knicks ??

I’m honestly perplexed by this Wizards game.
Its ok we get to see the sh*te thats still in the playoffs. Road stint in Toronto for Washington ??
Can’t believe I’ve not seen this market up until today. 365 are offering anyone to win the NBA Finals other than the Warriors @ 4/7. Curry still unlikely to be ready for game 1 and they’ve drawn the Spurs…
Buy some money, it’s not the Warriors year!
Warriors 1.14 to beat the Spurs in the series with 4-1 Warriors being the favorite outcome. Skybet have put up all their lines, it’s pretty interesting.
I wish Leonard wasn’t being a Kawhibaby and would suit up! ?
Need to look at it from a realistic perspective of how the Warriors are playing right now. A few weeks ago I posted the 76ers @ 18’s to win the East. They are now 5/1 and I’m being offered 100% profit of my stake. Lines up for Saturday but not much movement as of yet.
Liking the look of Spurs +14.5/Raptors -2.5
Chuck in Philly -2.5. Sneaky feeling Joel plays with his new Batman mask. Would say Portland win a tight one at home.
I agree, I feel like the odds do slightly put me off sometimes though.

76ers -6.5 on the spread anyone? Only upset I can see tonight is Pels @ Blazers currently sitting 2/1 or take the 5.5 on the spread. Also if anyone has any thoughts on the totals would be nice as nearly 2 hours to tip off in the play-offs!
76ers should win but the matchup looks similar going small with Embiid out and when these teams meet it tends to be a tight affair. Taking the home court win as all the momentum is with the 76ers.
Spurs away from home have been woeful and Warriors will have more than enough even if Iguodala doesn’t make it and Curry out.
Wizards have been so erratic but they’re away to currently the most complete team in the East. I think this could go over the total but sticking to home court win.

Do the Blazers have an answer to AD? 4 meetings this season have been split with both winning home & away. Last meeting Blazers won by 4 but Lillard had 40+ game on the night, which is an unlikely repeat plus last time the Pels went to Portland they won by 7. I like the +5.5 points here.

I feel like if the Heat can stay attached to the 76ers they’ll take the games in crunch time, Heat won the game before thanks to hacka-Simmons. I imagine it could come down to that again. Also for Phillies sake I hope they realize that TJ runs the second unit better than Fultz.
Evan Turner Over 14.5 PR&A @ 8/11 @ 365 – 2.75 points

Winners thread in full force tonight!
Very kind of you to say @nick2 and well done guys on they winners. I could have been braver on the GSW Spread, Raps total & Pels ML but had to dip my toe back in the water after being burned those final days of the regular season ?. Here’s hoping for a run now everyone is turning up again. ?
Ta gents and good work.
Not sure what I’ll be on yet tonight. Don’t think there will be any upsets. Most confident ML wins in order. Cavs, Rockets, Thunder then Boston. What you guys thinking?
Cavaliers -2.5
Thunder +4
4/5 @ 365 – 5 points
I think there’s a lack of experience for the Bucks and a lack of top talent for the Celtics so can see a low scoring game but 200 is the line so might look for a quick start then jump on the under if it hits near 205 and leave if it goes lower. Celtics have enough to take and appeal on the ML @ 10/17
Pacers @ Cavs interests me. I think we’ve seen a willingness already to go O in the playoffs and these 2 could and should put up 110 a piece. Cavs in playoff mode take the ML no probs.
I can see the Jazz playing D though as it’s what they do and OKC are pretty good at D themselves. Under is 8-2 in Thunder last 10 overall. Jazz are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings @ OKC. Line at 205 appeals on the under. I think OKC on the ML but it depends on what Thunder we get as we know what Jazz will offer.
TWolves @ Rockets has the chance to go high to especially if TWolves can put up 100+. My only worry would be it’s an early blowout by Rockets. Rockets easy on the ML

Some shot to answer! Tie game!
Can’t believe he made that
365 offering 4/5 on KAT (Timberwolves) to have more points than Mitchell (Jazz). Decent ??
Bucks went 25/1 to win the game before they inbounded. Still in shock. ?
Hmm not a great start…
The only positive we can take from that is that they can’t play any worse. ?
Showing signs of improvement. This is bigger than the deficit they turned around against Wizards but they’ve got much more time here.
LBJ about to play 48 mins??
Thought the Cavs might actually come back in the first half but looks as if they have still got the nervs. Back tomorrow.
Hold on ???
Defo a game on here. I’ll need triple overtime for my over bet but! ?
?
Bookies have won here…
Could realistically see the Cavs going out in the first round after that performance.
Lines for game 2 came out at 7.5, already 8.5. I don’t get it.
I feel like the Jazz pulled their starters way too early then..
Were only down 13 with 2 minutes to go, the out of rotation guys managed to get it down to 6.
So horrible when you get the other games right but Cleveland decided to throw a goose egg in there.
Wow I couldn’t have been much more wrong on those games yesterday! ? Need to lick my wounds and come back tonight with some renewed hope. ? A new thread might clear the decks for game 2’s please administrators. ? I need all the help I can get, ?

Previously brought up Vita Vea to be drafted within the top 15 picks, it was priced at evens, now priced 4/7. Hopefully that’s a sign of things to come.
As the draft get closer, prices are becoming more volatile. Another value bet I am seeing is Betfair‘s Darnold to be the first QB drafted priced at 8/11. Considering that is better odds than Darnold being the first overall pick. I am happy enough to risk a fair few points on it. Not buying the Josh Allen hype, think he is just another Ryan Leaf waiting to happen again. But then we are talking about the Browns making the right decision, so…. best not to put all your eggs in one basket perhaps.
Watched his tape before actually (Vea) Looks a hell of a presence upfront. Not sold on Darnold going 1 though. He’s drifted out too. Still confident from when I tipped Ridley @ 4/6 to be the first WR, now 4/9 ??
The price quoted above was for Darnold to be the first QB taken, which I think has value. Personally, I think Rosen is the top QB and Baker will be the only one to be a star out of the group. If Browns take Allen first, then they clearly haven’t learned from selecting Brady Quinn all those years ago.
Browsing through Skybets Request a bet and see this..
Simmons, Redick, Belinelli, Durant & Thompson Each 2+ 3s
Simmons?????
Considering he’s 0-11 the entire season I’d say that doesn’t have much of a chance..
Also it’s only 23/1!
Who’s the mad man that requested that!
Terrible request
I’m surprised they even priced it up, I thought it’d either be way too high odds or just ignored.
It’s been a while gents but we are now into the playoffs.
Following similar selections, going for two home wins tonight, both already 1-0 up in the series after dominant home wins

Bets up in the 4th! Well done Dazzler.
Heat burned us last night ?
Celtics Spread is at -2! That would have came up if the unlikely 3 had missed on the buzzer never mind the 2nd quarter showing from the Celtics, which surely can’t be repeated. Ultimate it did come up game 1 in OT. I think I seen more than enough from the Celtics to cover that.
Raptors are just better than the Wizards and I think win at home but not sure on the -7 Spread. Seems achievable but it’s the old risk to gain scenario.
Surely the Blazers need to win tonight. After a poor start they rallied against the Pels and came close in the end. Plus Lillard can’t be that poor scoring again.
The treble alone pays 11/5 but will wait for any thoughts & tips before having a closer look.

Unlucky on the bet Jordan. That game blew up from the get go on points. Last part of the treble underway but how bad are Portland shooting the 3! Still they’re leading by 5 in the 2nd quarter so fingers crossed. So I know I’m kinda new but what’s the score with the thread. Do you not get one for the playoffs?

Total flip reverse start for the Cavs today and Oldipo sitting with a minute played. Cabs win this with ease.
This is what we needed game 1…
On the thread topic. I guess it’s because I’ve not posted a bet with a proper right up for a couple of days. Rest did me good last time so leaving tonight ??
That’s all that stops it. I’m afraid neither me nor Scott know enough about your US sports to do a write-up and we don’t have the time anyway.
All we ask is for a couple of pars reasoning and a thread will be created.
Yeah no worries Mr F ??

In two minds with what to go for with the sad news of Pop’s wife passing. The Warriors realistically should win this series
4-0 the way they’ve played the first two games, but obviously the Spurs will be playing for something a little extra tonight. Its still a low spread considering and should be covered.
Realistically the safe pick should be Klay Thompsons PR&A. Primarily used for scoring over the past two, he’s still topped this total in points alone (ok missed by 0.5 a point in game 1 but still would have covered the PR&A). He’s been on fire from behind the arc too and has hit his points total in his last four outings.
