ANDY MURRAY and Novak Djokovic are just one win away from a Qatar Open Final showdown and both will be confident of booking their place today.
Murray's semi-final opponent is Tomas Berdych – who has lost the last seven in a row to the Scot – and another win for the world No.1 pays 2-11 at Betfair while a straight-sets success is 1-2 at Betfair and a Berdych victory pays 5-1 at Marathonbet.
Djokovic is 1-3 to win 2-0 against Spain's Fernando Verdasco, whose only hard-court win against the world No.2 came back in 2005 and who is 11-1 at Marathonbet to stun the Serb this time.
The pick of the day's other matches comes from the Brisbane Open where world No.3 Milos Raonic is 6-4 at BetVictor to get the better of 14-times Grand Slam winner Rafa Nadal (8-15, Netbet).
Other sporting highlights worth a flutter include NBA, Pro12 and Premiership rugby and Test cricket so feel free to add any tips of your choice.
Cavs finalising a deal for Kyle Korver. Who would be the best 3 point shooter on their team by a distance. Hopefully some nice low point totals when he arrives.
Here’s a stat for you. Antonio Brown has never scored a TD in his NFL post-season career. I for one think that changes this weekend. Kept out of the week 17 game, he’ll be fresh against a defense giving up 279 yards through the air over their last three, and a third worst 2.3 passing TD’s per game. Miami’s best corner Byron Maxwell still hasn’t practiced this week, so that tells you that even if he does feature, he will be limited. Spells bad news against Brown who usually plays big in Primetime games, and will not doubt get the looks he deserves.
Antonio Brown TD/Steelers Win @ 10/11 @ Ladbrokes – 5.5 points
Lamar Miller had one of his better games of the season against Oakland and has been a full go at both practices so far this week. With Cook playing for Oakland, Houston could see plenty of the ball via three and outs, or turnovers from the rookie. Brock Osweiler has also been named the starter for Houston, which reminds me of the saying ‘no news is good news’. Miller should see a nice workload just as he did in November. Miller broke a run of 20+ yards in six of his last nine games so hopefully one will get him a decent chunk of his yardage.
Lamar Miller (Houston Texans) Over 72.5 Rushing Yards @ 5/6 @ PP/Betfair – 6 points
Raptors -2.5
Rocket -2.5
5/4 Double – 4pts
*Cashed out – Raptors big 4th quarter got them the win meanwhile Thunder started the better in 4th quarter against Rockets so I have cashed out for 2.5 profit*
——
Inplay:
Pistons & Rockets to win 3/4 – 8pts
*Cashed Out – Pistons were 19 ahead in the 4th but grind out the win by only 1point, feel for the guys who were on the handicap as they threw it away! Same as the net above I have cashed out as Thunder dominating right now. Cashed out for 3.7pts profit*
——
Drummond O14.5 – 5/6 – 2pts

Back at it tonight, a nervous night which I’m glad I was able to stay up for with no work tomorrow. As I currently type this Thunder have went 2 up, fingers crossed anyone on Rockets they can see it out.

Pistons win by 1 point.
Updated record
Week – 3-3
Season – 50-39
Morning mate..unlucky with this man…arghhh so annoying how pistons just throw away a massive lead going into the 4th..?..Bounce bk tonight man…
Haha its definitely a good thing that I don’t watch all these games.. I just wake up, check the score.. ah they lost by 1.
Saves the frustration of such circumstances ?
They were 19pts up in the 4th quarter, Hornets scored on the buzzer but shot was released just after the red light.
Nothing is ever safe!
You will bounce back tonight with a decent card.
2 revenge games I’m looking at this morning.. Knicks +7.5 and Warriors -13.
Knicks on the road………?
@fraser51 yeah I wouldn’t bet on Knicks win mate.
Thought 7.5 wasn’t bad value for a desperate team looking for revenge. It’s +6 now.
I’ve decided to wait on Porzingis news.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Washington Wizards
Pick – Wizards -5 @ 1.90 (Bet365)
At work atm, will post my reasoning later.
Indiana Pacers -5
San Antonio Spurs ML
43/50 @ Skybet – 2.5 points **WIN**
No luck needed last night. Well done any winners
@fraser51, when you’re posting tips on the thread, you need to understand that other people may have bet it. You saying you cashed out for decent profit doesn’t really help anyone mate. Just a suggestion. Well done regardless.
@Jordan I did say fingers crossed anyone waiting on the Rockets they could see it out, eventually they did by 2pts. I don’t wish anyone a loss on here.
If I didn’t cash out one of my bets would of won and one would of lost. That is the devil of the cashout feature though, sometimes it will work in your favour and sometimes it won’t.
Luckily I am off work today so I stayed up to watch the game live on bt, was a cracking match with Westbrook in destructing form. With Thunder bossing the last quarter I cashed out and I’m glad I did.
On other nights when I’m working in the morning my bets will be placed and I will wake up in the to the result. Not everyone sleeping pattern is the same.
Well done with your winner, sailed in with no problems.
@bullseye
Hello chap, hope you enjoyed the final the other night was an absolute cracker and MVG looked worryingly good at times.
Any thoughts for the BDO? Not sure if you follow it as religiously as the PDC however there’s still a bit of value to be had as always.
Any fancies for outright winner? Scott Waites at 12/1 seems massively over priced. What are your thoughts?
Hope your well mate and thanks for all the winners throughout the world champs.
Lamar Miller’s rush total is 68.5 @ 10/11 @ Skybet for anybody interested.
Yesterday’s euro double missed out by a solitary point! Today I’ll be on a Euroleague Double and with any luck get some wins under my belt.
Euroleague Basketball Double
Milano @ Fenerbahce (17:45GMT)
Points Spread: Milano (+18)
Crvena Zvezda @ Zalgaris (18:00GMT)
Points Spread: Zvezda (+9.5)
Double @ 9/10, Bet365 – 2pts staked.
Good luck!
Hi guys haven’t posted over the xmas period was away on my holidays so missed a lot of the action.
Don’t quite understand this price on treviso tonight up against a dragons side who have being woeful. Treviso pushed Glasgow all the way in a cracking game last week in Italy and showed there scoring ability. Bar two drummings from a strong Munster and Connauct side they have kept games tight. Bonus point win moved them ahead of the dragons who lie in 10th.
Benetton Treviso +9 @evens @pp
Best of luck
Bet 2 tonight is locked in.
NY Knicks @ Milwaukee Bucks
Pick – Knicks +5.5 @ 1.90 (PP)
I will add some reasoning later.
I’m going to also go with Ulster in a separate single at 6/4 @pp. 4 Irish back on the sqaud including Henderson and Jackson. Should get back to winning ways
Aviva Prem
Newcastle v Bath
Really got to have a slice of Newcastle at this price. Playing at home on the astro turf after running Wasps close with their captain back in the team after a month and a half out. Bath are a solid team no doubt but don’t travel well. They scored a measly 3 points against Cardiff a few weeks ago when most expected them to win. 5 places seperate them in the league but form in the last 5 games has them level on points.
Newcastle ML

Pro 12 Double
Scarlets v Ulster total range 3 way 22-42 points
Zebre over 0.5 team points
1.87 @ bet365
Scarlets game seems to have a metronome of totals, all coming in around 32 points. Both tight teams should keep the scoring in the range.
Zebre have drawn a couple of blanks against Leinster before but they should be able to squeeze over one try or a penalty at least. They have scored in all 8 of their last away matches.

@raoul-duke I likey your wizards selection dude..wizards have a amazing home record ..wolves got some great talent but like u pointed out before, when they are in a position of winning, they bottle it towards the ends .bit like my gooners lol….
Few props I like in this match up
John wall been in great form lately..averaging 23 ppg and 10 apg.. I think he will be more provider than scorer tonight and over 10.5 assists at 5/6 skybet look appealing to me – He Could easily get a double double tonight..
In addition to this porter should have a strong game.
In my opinion Porter over 12.5 points 10/11 PP look good as I can see him attempting many shots beyond the arc..and if porter gets hot early I can see him hitting 4 or more 3-pointers ..
Exactly, even if the Timberwolves are leading by half time – you watch them bottle the 3rd or 4th Q. Im going to stay up to watch the game, and will undoubtedly take the Wizards 2nd Half Spread if that situation arises.
I’ll add some more thoughts on both my selections after the West Ham v Man City game lol.
Those prop bets sound good to me bro.
Thanks bro…Haha defo staying up to watch the game..doing abit more reading before finalising my choices..lucky u getting to watch the city match..my wife and kids watching home alone 2 on the main tv lol….
My kid is only 6 months old, annoying af trying to watch it with screaming in the background… but still beats Home Alone 2 hahaha.
??? yeah man Oreo and milk for my boys while they watch home alone..bloody Nora westham got thumped.⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Right little break down on my bets tonight.. the Wizards pick speaks for itself, I’ve already touched on the Timberwolves inability to close out games.. especially against decent opposition. Wizards currently on a 2 game losing streak, but have an incredible home record, going 10-3 as home favourite.
New York Knicks.
I know i’m going against 2 things that I recently said I wouldn’t do again… 1. bet on the Knicks on road games, 2. bet on the Knicks at all, lol.
Tbh the 2nd comment was more of a statement of frustration, after losing a bet that I believe should have won.
Tonight is a scenario that I love betting on, this is a huge revenge game for the Knicks.. did anyone see the Giannis buzzer-beating fadeaway, that won the game by 1 point at The Garden?.. well for anyone that didn’t, here it is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogece9BHaS8
The look on Carmelo’s face says it all…
This is a Knicks team that were 2 games above .500 before Christmas, now they’re on a 6 game losing streak – they need to start winning games again to get back in the playoff race.
A big plus for the Knicks tonight is that Kristaps Porzingis will play, he might be on limited minutes but it’s definitely a boost, and will be a good match up for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
This will be a close match imo, and a possible let down spot for the Bucks.
I’m tempted to go small takes on Knicks ML.
Any of you guys got an opinion on the King’s game?
NBA Basketball Double
Timberwolves @ Wizards (00:05GMT)
Apologies but no write-up. Raoul has already highlighted the T-Wolves youth’s inability to close out games and I dont see this changing against the Wizards at home.
Money Line: Wizards
76ers @ Celtics (00:30GMT)
Celtics are 4 wins from 5. However, in 1 st halves this team is not dominating and from those 5 games, have not covered the given handicap.
76ers from last 5 games have 2 wins and 3 loses. They won last 2 games in a row and in all 5 games covered this huge handicap in 1 st half.
1st Half Spread: 76ers (+10.5)
Double @ 11/10, Coral – 1.5pts staked.
Good luck!

Northampton v Bristol (tomorrow)
Not sure if the bookies have noticed but Bristol are looking for a third win in a row after a dismal season up until this point. The change in management has done something good and they now have Worcester and a deteriorating Sale in their sights. They must be able to smell the scent of survival in the air.
Northampton are no mugs, but have been a bit patchy of late, losing to Newcastle at home recently. The form book puts these two teams much closer than their league positions.
There is every chance Bristol will continue their fight for survival with a win, but I’m more than happy to take the generous spread.
