ICELANDIC CUP action this evening and I’ve picked out one game that looks good for goals and a smaller stake/bigger priced treble. Have also added goals tips from South America in the early hours kick-off.
Stjarnan v Throttur (8.15pm)
Urvalsdeild and Nordic stalwarts Stjarnan are clearly the bigger and better outfit here but with both sides getting off to a solid start it wouldn’t surrise me if Throttur contributed to the goals tally.
The visitors have scored in 10/14 and 5/7 of the historic H2Hs and 100% of their last 9 successive games so it’s well worth keeping match goals on side as opposed to Stjarnan team goals.
- Over 3.5 match goals (5-6, William Hill)

There ought to be goals in all the games but these 3 stand out for an overs treble:
- Valur v IBV (6.30pm)
- Fjolnir v Thor (7pm)
- Stjarnan v Throttus (8.15pm)
- (2.28-1, WIlliam Hill)

The Night Owl sees me stalking up through the mountain passes of La Paz for what should be an intense 1st leg play-off in Bolivia…
The Strongest v Wilstermann (1am)
I’ve written much about The Strongest’s altitude advantage high up in The Andes but a combination of their own downturn in form and an upsurge in a handful of other teams quality has seen their dominance falter of late.
One such side is Wilstermann who, in the last 12 months, have really set their stall out for the big boys and they have been brilliant to back.
Whilst the hosts will look to gain the obvious advantage, it’s hard to ignore the fact that they have failed to keep a clean sheet in 21 attempts out of their last 34 at home; doesn’t seem much on paper but thst is a big sea change by Bolivian’s self-imposed biggest hitters.
Many of those teams who have struck a goal in La Paz can’t hold a candle to Wilstermann’s current squad and Jorge have proved it in the last 18 months by scoring in each of the last 4 H2H’s – 2 of which were on The Strongest’s home patch.
- Wilstermann goal before 49 mins (5-6, bet365)
- Wilstermann over 1.5 goals (5-4, bet365)
