The exciting part of the Christmas racing period is only days away, but we are left scraping this Sunday, with not much happening throughout the UK for punters to get tucked into.
Please be aware that we are still in the process of fixing some technical issues. One particular issue that I noticed was the comment section not showing comments. At the moment, if you wish to comment and view other members comments then you will have to be logged in to your MFT account for these to show. For example, if you access the thread without logging in, you will see no comments, whereas if you login prior to clicking on the thread then the comments will show. Again, apologies for the on-going issues and hopefully the tech guys can fix this sooner rather than later.

Samourai One 4/1 – Fakenham 2.13
Punters don't have much to choose from in regards to meetings on Sunday, with a flat meeting at Lingfield and a jumps card at Fakenham the only meetings on offer. Nothing caught my eye on the flat and as a result, I've opted to go hunting at Fakenham for a winner.
One particular horse tickled my fancy in the 2.13 contest which is a Class 4 Handicap Chase over a gruesome 3m 5f. The horse that caught my eye was the Lucy Wadham trained Samourai One, who currently sits in the top half of the market at 4/1 in what looks an extremely competitive field.
Lucy has her string in great nick at present and despite her not being known for having a huge stable of horses, the ones that are running, are running to a decent standard with her yard currently operating at a 30% S/R in the past 14 days. She's notably had three winners from her past 4 runners and her horses have to be taken seriously at present.
I thought her runner here in Samouri One was quite interesting in this first attempt at 3m5f, but if going by his efforts over slightly shorter I think he could very well appreciate this extra distance.
Samouri One has filled the placings in his last two starts, one of which was over 3m at this very same course and the other was over 3m2f at Fontwell. The Fontwell performance was the one that caught my eye the most, and after watching a replay of the race it drew me to my conclusion to give this horse a chance over this extra distance.
My selection traveled well at Fontwell that day, staying on strongly to finish third, suggesting that he potentially would be better over further. He was dropped in trip to 3m for the contest at Fakenham which saw him finish second behind Lunar Contact. Again, the trip seemed too short as Samouri One was ridden cold that day and came home strongly to finish second, but the eventual winner had first run, and unfortunately, it was too late. Lunar Contact has since won again, so that contest's form reads not too bad either.
Porridge 12-13 fakenham.
33-1 ew 4 places SKYBET main stake.
66-1 ew 3 places paddy power small stake.
Not done much so far and is way out of the handicap but as it’s class 5, it can’t get any lower so I see it as having a featherweight in a really shit race.
Fakenham
12-43 simply gorgeous 5-2

Not run for a year which is a negative but is consistent here with form figures of 21142.
Won twice here earlier this year.
4-52 is at Ladbrokes
That’s racing over until Boxing Day.
Nice to end the bad run of form with a winning selection today at advised odds of 4/1.
Wishing all a safe and happy Christmas from everyone at MFT.
4/5 so far been profitable.
1 to go, been an ok day.
Well done winners today including cairzys sole pick.
Good point for the toffees as well, Chelsea not won there in 8 attempts now I believe.
Worrying is no DC posting here in a while.
Hope he’s ok, know he’s had health issues, god willing he will be back soon.
Hope the plug posts soon too with the big Irish meeting coming up, the lexus etc.
3 french horses listed in the king George, I’ll est Francais who if running with no issues will take some stopping as it’s not the greatest field to be honest 5-1.
Juntos gamanos is an up and coming sort but maybe not good enough yet.
General en chef at 100-1 could surprise and run into a place especially if it’s heavy.
Ew extra will be the route if that price is still current.
Came 3rd in the french gold cup over 3.5 miles and ran a decent 4th at Newbury recently.
No need to worry Elvis, hard to kill a bad thing , but appreciate the thought

Brilliant racing to look forward to tomorrow can’t wait.
Kempton
Leader in the Park 12.45
The Jukebox Man 1.20
Christmas Hurdle is a race to just watch as we don’t know what CH will turn up. He could run 10lbs below his best and still win based on ratings but there’s still more to come from Lossiemouth too.
King George Banbridge
Spillane’s Tower is my favourite horse in training, never runs a bad race but I think he’d have wanted it a bit softer. Still if he wins I won’t mind even though I won’t have backed him.
Banbridge gets his ground, was an impressive winner on his only start at the track last season, Paul Townend is an eye catching booking, was running a cracker last time giving Energumene 8lbs before falling at the last and JOB yard are flying so plenty in his favour.
L’Homme Presse has won fto for the past 4 years so must also go on the shortlist.
Lleopardstown
Hello Neighbour 1.10 Lots of positive vibes for this one. Was 7/2 yesterday and will probably go off fav come race time.
Johnny Blue 1..45 will take a well h’capped one to beat him.

Chase mark of 122 back over hurdles off 94 must give him a huge chance
I won’t bore you with the details especially today but I’ve been in and out of hospital over the past few months and am due to go back in early Jan but until then I’ll enjoy the few days with the family
