Rizz pulled the rabbit out of the hat on Saturday by landing a beautiful 33/1 winner in the shape of Morodor.
Morodor was advised last night at 20/1, but hopefully a few of you managed to get on at the drifted price of 33s.
Sorry for not talking much about the Cheltenham festival coming up. I'm still waiting to hear back from the higher-ups on how they want to set up this year's content.
I've suggested doing something similar to what we've done in the past, which includes our main thread, separate articles for the five biggest races each day, and a separate Lucky 15 article to go along with it. Hopefully, I will hear back this week and advise you all in due course on what will be happening.
In the meantime, if anyone has something new they would like to see on the site regarding Cheltenham, please feel free to post a comment below, and either myself or Rizz will forward it.

The Newest One 5/1 – Doncaster 2.00
This is an interesting little race, and you can make claims for all five of them despite some of their form figures being less than inspiring. At the prices, my eye was immediately drawn to the Twiston Davies-trained The Newest One, who looks like a value play in this field at 5/1.
My selection made his seasonal return at Cheltenham last year when winning by a length and a half to Henry Daly's Jimmy The Digger. He ran another encouraging race at the same venue on his following outing, which saw him finish fourth and not far off the winner, who happened to be the Willie Mullins-trained Transmission.
The form of that effort reads well given Transmission is now up to a mark of 131 and followed up that victory with another good effort behind Haiti Couleurs in a competitive Class 3 contest at Cheltenham.
My selection was pulled up on his previous two outings, but I don't think the trip suited him and, more so, the soft ground conditions, which he seems to not run well on. Notably, his two opening runs of the season came on good ground and over a sort of distance similar to that he runs tomorrow, and a combination of the two should see The Newest One run a better race.

The thread needs an Antepost thread that will be visible daily so we can visit it put up antepost selections and discuss future upcoming races / festivals.
If that is there I’m sure it would increase traffic and discussion on the thread.
I personally find it very frustrating that that option is not there currently.

An Antepost thread could be put up daily with no issues, the only problem we have at the moment is due to the severe amount of other articles going live from other sports, the article would then be out of sight by the end of the day.
I will happily put up a thread each night for you all to post antepost bets but it would be separate articles every night if that makes sense instead of just the one article. Which is annoying because the bets you post today for example will then not show on the following day because they would be on yesterdays article.
The guys are yet to fix the issue that stops articles from showing consistently on the Home Screen of the website which is why at times people have to navigate to articles using the top bar.

No the same thread would have to be available daily otherwise it’s pointless.
Hopefully they can resolve the issue with threads disappearing I’m sure having such a thread would be a huge benefit for everyone
I put up NATURALLY NIMBLE earlier in the week for the Fred Winter but it’s also always worth looking for something at a price in this race as in the past 10 years alone we’ve had 18/1, 33/1, 33/1 , 25/1 and 80/1 winners and I think I’ve found one.
Depending on who your bookies is, he’s 40/1 best priced currently, however the best price I can get is 33/1 NRNB although I’m confident he will get into the race so I could go 40/1 antepost but I took the safer option.
The horse is SOLAR DRIVE for the Paul Flynn yard.
It will be his first runner at the festival and also his only runner.
Solar Drive has a direct line of form with current 2nd fav Total Look which I will explain.
Back in Oct. he was 2nd to Action Plan (gave 6lbs) who he had previously beaten off levels, back in 3rd 3 1/4L behind was Slurricane who is currently 16/1 in the market.
That day SD gave Slurricane 13lbs so will have an 11lb swing with him here.
Slurricane then finished 2nd beaten 3/4L off levels behind BEYOND YOUR DREAMS currently 10/1 and another that is well fancied for the race.
Lto Slurricane won beating OUT FOR A STROLL (gave 4lbs) 3/4L and currently 16/1 and in 3rd was TOTAL LOOK a further 3/4L behind but gave 15lbs.and is the 2nd fav at a best priced 7/1.
So to summarise, SOLAR DRIVE gave Slurricane 13lbs and a 3 1/2L beating and SLURRICANE beat TOTAL LOOK 2L getting 15lbs.
I really think SD is the price he is purely because of the yard he comes from.
Although he’s a big price already I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s even bigger on the day so not sure if he’s worth taking now if interested.
I’ve had a nibble but will go in again on the day to avail of BOG.

Cairnzy can they not just do a pinned Cheltenham talk post that stays at the top until after Cheltenham then just un pin it ?.
Personally I think it’s why this site has went to the dogs there is far to much meaningless threads that basically nobody reads.
Hence why the football & Horse racing main threads are alot quieter than when Mr Fixit used to run the site.
