Saturday's Lucky 15 bet secured a little bit of profit with a 14/1 winner and a 13/2 placed horse.
The 14/1 winner didn't look likely, but fair play to the horse who kept finding for pressure to win in a very tight finish.
Best of luck if you're following us on Sunday's Lucky 15 bet. I am advising this bet as an each-way Lucky 15.
Advertised 14/1 (3pl) – Curragh 2.05
It's a very rare sight to see a Grant Tuer runner in Ireland, but since his horse has qualified for this sales race, why not try and land the spoils?
Despite him hailing from a lesser yard, I think he has a much better chance than the odds suggest. His form isn't out of this world from his two runs to date, but I think he will relish the soft ground and will keep improving. He is by Advertise, who'd have guess with that name? But his father was very good on slow ground, so there's every possibility that he'll be good on this as well.
Bluecoltrane 8/1 (3pl) – Doncaster 1.20
With Owen Burrows doing us a favour the other day on the main thread, I am chancing another of his runners at this track, which he does very well at.
On all known form, Bluecoltrane has to improve to win this handicap debut, but Owen's form at this track gives the impression they fancy their chances. His horse has been gelded since his most recent run at Ffos Las, which wasn't as good as his run at Southwell the time before.
The step up to 10f should suit based on his pedigree, as should the testing ground.
Something Splendid 7/2 (3pl) – Doncaster 1.55
I felt robbed massively when Something Splendid didn't get up in time when tipped up last time out. With that lingering in my head, I've got to give him another chance.
There's no doubt that he should have won last time out; he was given an awful ride by Harry Davies. Billy Loughnane is in the saddle this time around, and with a clear run, he's got a fantastic chance. The flatter track is my main concern, as he was staying on strongly last time out, but the galloping nature should allow him to get into a lovely rhythm, and I think it will be a stamina test based on the ground.
Pietro 12/1 (5pl) – Doncaster 2.30
I'm not sure what to think of the Class 2 win by Pietro at Brighton, as those races aren't actually Class 2 levels. However, we know this runner from the James Fanshawe stable is in tremendous form, with two wins and two runner-up finishes in the last four races.
Saffie Osbourne gets in the saddle on Pietro, and she is riding with supreme confidence in the last couple of months after a tough start to the season. Pietro should have a solid chance of hitting the frame again from the bottom of the weights, and I don't have doubts about the ground as he is by Sands Of Mali, who was very good on ground with juice in it.
