For Saturday's Lucky 15 bet, I've opted to go down the eachway route and target horses with odds of 5/1 or higher in the hope we can find some value in what looks like another competitive Saturday ahead for punters.

Be sure to let me know in the comments who your fancies are for Saturday's racing!

Cairnzy's Lucky 15 Tips

America Queen 11/2 EW – Newmarket 2.25

I thought Ed Walker's Royal Fixation looked very impressive last time out at York when landing Group 2 honors; she showed a nice turn of foot on that occasion, and if she builds on that performance, she could be tough to beat.

I thought the Richard Hughes trained America Queen was worth a bet at the prices, she finished about 1L behind Royal Fixation when the pair met in the Group 2 at York and there is no reason why she can't build on that effort as well. At double the price she looks a worthy each way play to be involved in the finish.

Humidity 13/2 EW – Newmarket 1.50

Bow Echo should be a tough nut to crack, and I've already mentioned him over on the main thread. With that said, at the prices, I thought Andrew Balding's Humidity was worth a chance. He won the Chesham Stakes back in June, but was unsuited by the conditions at Goodwood on his following outing.

I thought he ran very well at Sandown last month when finishing a close second ( short head ). I caught a replay of that race, and he came into some interference during that race, and I thought he was an unlucky loser as a result. My selection is a speedy sort, and I think this step up to a mile should see him go close at a nice price.

Dictal 13/2 EW – Newmarket 4.15

Dictal has drifted slightly from her opening price, but I'm still willing to give her a chance. She is a beautifully bred horse, being a daughter out of Frankel, and she has shown improved form in each of her three runs to date. She seems to be versatile ground-wise, and I thought she was interesting on her nursery debut.

She will need to take a step forward again to win this race, as there are some nice types in this race, particularly Gwen John, who went close in a Class 2 handicap at Doncaster recently. Connections have booked Nicola Currie for the ride. I'm not totally taken on Nicola Currie as of yet, but she is slowly but surely becoming one of the better female jockeys in the sport. Sometimes she looks top drawer, then sometimes she seems the opposite, but you can say that about some of the best jockeys in the world.

Glow 8/1 EW – Newmarket 5.20

Those with experience don't exactly set the world alight, and I wouldn't be surprised to see this go to a newcomer, but I have decided to go with a horse with experience, and Glow from the Richard Hannon yard was the horse that drew my eye.

My selection showed some promise on debut when finishing fourth at Newbury last month. Notably, Glow was quite heavily backed in the market into favourite, which suggests a big run was on the cards. The Newbury effort came over 6f on good ground but after watching a replay, I thought she was crying out for further. I'm hoping this step up in trip to 7f will spark some improvement. 8/1 looks a fair eachway play against this field.
