Rizz managed to land a winning selection on the main thread and I had some success on the Lucky 15 bet in landing two winners, one of which was 8/1 at the time of posting but did drift out to 12/1.
Boxing Day racing was top drawer and it was nice to see some in the comment section land some winning selections as well. Friday's racing is also quite good and we have some good races to look forward to. I haven't had much time to study the cards due to father duties but I have a selection I like the look of and hopefully it can get the job done for us on Friday.

Edwardstone 10/3 – Kempton 2.30
This looks like a tricky handicap to solve but I think Edwardstone is a decent bet, and at the prices, I thought he offered some value at 10/3 against those shorter than him in the current market.
Edwardstone doesn't have the sort of caliber of horse such as Jonbon to contend with in this contest and although not seen to best effect last time out, I still believe Alan King's 10-year-old can get back to the winners' enclosure.
Edwardstone has dropped in the ratings from 166 to 163 but did run some nice races within that period, including a two and a quarter length defeat to Jonbon at Cheltenham in November. I put up Edwardstone last time out on the Lucky 15 thread if I remember correctly but he took a heavy fall and that was all she wrote that time around. I mentioned in that particular write-up that I'd of liked to of seen Edwardstone use the aggressive front-running tactics that saw him win at Newbury by a whopping 40L. I think there is a possibility we see that this time around with Jonbon not being in the line up.
Ventia Williams remains in great form and she holds strong claims with the current market leader Martador who arrives here in the form of his life and in search of the six timer. Martador is raised 11lb for that recent 11L success which asks further questions but I wouldn't be gobsmacked if he was to win this race either.
Just backed the 2 today as not much taking my fancy.

Has 8 1/2L to make up on Gaelic Warrior from the Arkle last march but GW has had a disrupted start to his season and should have been out before now and has to face a horse having had 2 runs and who should be primed for this run today.

Hgranca De Thaix 10/1 ew 6 places
Won his last 2 chases and despite the fact he has gone up 18lbs I still think there’s room for more to come. The step up in trip will also help and had a prep run over hurdles to set himself up for this.
Obviously a very competitive h’cap so plenty of luck required.
We also get to see Hendon V Mullins part 2 when Ballyburn takes on Sir Gino. Fair play to Mullins for sending his horses across as these are the clashes we want to see.
As for the winner, once again better off just watching and enjoying the race.
Sir Gino makes his debut over fences and gets 6lbs from BB, something he won’t get come march but I also think BB is better over further but has already had a run over fences. Should be another great race
