JOHNB got back in the winners' enclosure with a 10-1 tip on Friday thanks to Salamanzar's success at Exeter.
The nap was a non-runner so there were three points staked on the day and a profit of eight, taking February's profit to 43.63 points.
On to Saturday and JohnB says: “For Saturday I did fancy a few but it's all about winning so because I fancy one horse so strongly I am only putting the one up. It's a joint nap and NB so double stake but this my strongest tip for a long time and I am certain JP McManus will already have his thousands on this one.”
JohnB's Saturdays Tip
Tri Na Ceile 3-1 NAP/NB Paddy Power (double stake)
Tri Na Ceile (NAP)
She is the youngest horse in the race and this is only her third hurdles race so she is still learning and has bags of improvement but she is good enough to win this.
A plus for Saturday is that Mark Walsh is onboard for the first time and he is a jockey who doesn’t get a lot of credit. On to the horse and she made everyone sit up and take note last time out.
at Leopardstown over 2m 2f she was well backed down to favourite but found a load of trouble and when she did see daylight she absolutely flew home to finish fiftth beaten just over 10 lengths. It sounds a lot but her finish was eyecatching.
Up an extra two furlongs on Saturday and with Mark Walsh onboard JP McManus can get his money back with Tri Na Ceile because I can't see anything but a win for the nap.
Good luck everyone and post your racing tips and chat here.
