NOT as a good a card as last Saturday but still plenty of matches in Scotland I like the look of.

Hearts should take care of St Mirren at Tynecastle, rejuvenated Partick Thistle are more than capable of finding the net at home to league leaders Ross County and we should see goals between Falkirk and title-chasing Dundee United.

Hearts vs St Mirren (3pm)

A goalkeeper howler prevented the Jambos from collecting a point away at an on-form Motherwell. They are back on home soil and nothing less than three points will do against the league’s whipping boys.

Hearts looked good in phases last week and with their injury list clearing, manager Craig Levein will have almost a full team to pick from

St Mirren collected a surprise point away at Aberdeen last week but I don’t see them leaving Tyncastle today with anything. Hearts will be too strong with Naismith and Ikpeazu pilling the strings

Partick Thistle vs Ross County (3pm)

I was on Thistle last week for my NAP as they beat Alloa 2-0 to move off the bottom of the table and after a busy transfer window which saw Steven Anderson, Joe Cardle and Scott McDonald join the Firhill side to add extra experience and quality they’ll push up the league.

They’ve won five on the spin and will be full of confidence as they welcome league leaders Ross County. This should be a cracking game with Thistle more than capable of scoring.

Recommended Bet

Hearts to beat St Mirren
Partick Thistle to score

(11-10, Ladbrokes) (NAP)

Falkirk vs Dundee United (KO 3pm)

It’s another huge game for big-spending Dundee United and it’s been a terrific run since they added to the squad at the end of January.

With Ross County faced with a tough match at Thistle, United have a terrific opportunity to go level on points at the top of league.

Their new players have settled in well and with those not playing helping to make us money in the Reserve League, they are well geared up for a title challange.

Falkirk will be a tough test though and while I expect United to win I’m going to go with goals.

Recommended Bet

  • Over 2.5 goals
