The DP World Tour continues with a visit to the Czech Rep for this week’s Czech Masters at Albatross Golf Resort, Prague.
The 156 field with the top 65 including ties making the cut will all be competing for a share of the $2M prize purse with the winner collecting the Czech Masters title & a winner cheque for $333,200.
Albatross Golf Resort will be playing 7,468 yards long this week, it’s a par 72 Parkland layout where the key to success will definitely involve power, this is a big hitters paradise.
Maximillian Kieffer returns to defend the title he won here last year with only 54 holes completed due to severe weather conditions.
The weather forecasts showers & thunderstorms over the weekend with Thursday being sunny & warm. Breezes will peak at around 10mph.
This event will be screened on Sky Sports Golf & Sky Sports Main Event with live coverage starting at 12pm on Thursday afternoon.
Nicolai Hojgaard 16/1 EW PaddyPower 1-7 places
For my first & foremost selection to win the Czech Masters, I’m going to advise Nicolai Hojgaard 16/1 EW PaddyPower 1-7 places.
The young 22-year-old Dane should go well in Prague this week on a course that suits his game. Nicolai is one of the big hitters in this pack, he ranks 18th on the DP World Tour for Driving Distance but it gets even better for Greens in Regulation figures where he is ranked 10th this season.
He finished inside the Top 20 around this venue in 2021 when he was a new kid on the block & since then he has scooped two DPWT titles, the Italian Open in 2021 & the Ras Al Khaimah Championship last year.
It could be his third this weekend in the Czech Rep with Luke Donald looking on in admiration.
Adrien Dumont De Chassart 20/1 EW Skybet 1-8 places
For my next pick, I’m going to point you all in the direction of Adrien Dumont De Chassart 20/1 EW Skybet 1-8 places.
A recent winner on the very competitive KFT Tour when bagging the BMW Charity Pro-Am, this kid means business.
The 23-year-old from Belgium was also unlucky at another KFT event this year when finishing runner-up at the Wichita Open. Altogether he has accumulated six Top 10 finishes this season on the very competitive KFT Tour circuit so this kid can play.
It could be an event like this that Adrien Dumont De Chassart needs to kick start his career then the sky’s the limit for this wonder kid. Keep tabs on this pick everyone, I’m pretty sure you’ll be hearing more of him in the days, weeks, months & years ahead.
Wilco Nienbar 50/1 EW Unibet 1-6 places
For my final selection this week I’m going to recommend Wilco Nienbar 50/1 EW Unibet 1-6 places.
The 23-year-old from South Africa is the biggest hitter by far on the DPWT & will be licking his lips at the thought of this Albatross set-up. It’s a big hitters paradise so this will more than suit his long ball striking game plan with some forgiveness on a few of the holes if not accurate.
Arriving in Prague on the back of a Top 5 performance at Galgorm Castle last weekend at the ISPS Handa World Invitational will only enhance the young South African's chances. This could give Wilco Nienbar all the confidence he needs to go on & win his maiden DP World Tour title this weekend safe in the knowledge that just a place returns a tidy profit.

Good luck as always Burton111 especially with the 100/1 + Winner. I’ve tipped a few of them in the past & a couple just recently, bookie bashing at its finest ? ?⛳️
Not many 100/1 + winners tipped on here recently though ? ?
