AFTER a great Masters Paul Casey will be on a high for the RBC Heritage this week at the Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina.
One of two players who had no bogeys in the final round last week – winner Danny Willett was the other – Casey is on a roll and hopefully the feelgood factor from last week will carry on this week.
Probably driving accuracy and GIR are going to be important and with driving accuracy of 64.29% (T63) and GIR 70.74% (20th) Casey should be up there.
I’m also looking at Kevin Kisner who crashed here to Jim Furyk in the first of three play-off losses last year. In driving accuracy he is 71.10% (7th) and in GIR 69.17 (T37), which is really good and to add a sweetener to the pot he is third in putting average (1.705).
Winner of the RSM when I tipped him at the beginning of the season and after a terrific T37 at The Masters on his debut I expect him to go well here.
As the Brits were in great form in the Masters I’ve gone for another one here at Harbour Town. Matthew Fitzpatrick birdied four of the last four holes and finished with a 67 for a T7 finish last week. He is 10th (70.24%) in driving accuracy, 68.52% in GIR (53rd) and 32nd in strokes gained:putting.
I had two places at The Masters, Dustin Johnson and Hideki Matsuyama, so hoping to land a winner this week.

Yeh was a brilliant Masters! 3 Hole-in-one’s so my bet landed comfortably but wow Oosthuizen’s unbelievable shot would have been some way for the tip to land. Liking your Casey tip and I’ll be on that.

craig, I’m going with Snedeker – looked back to his best at The Masters.
Was gutted last week I tipped fowler and mcilroy to win and Dustin and Danny willet first round leader, if only had done other way round. Oh well onto this week we go
Ace, I think Matt Fitzpatrick is gonna go on a run soon. The guy has got so much improvement in him. Physically, he looks like he could do with a pull a bar, but he still has time.
the notorious, Have to agree. He was superb in the Masters and has been playing well recently on the US Tour. I expect big things from him this year. He and Willett will be up there challenging more often than not.
Just 2 for me this week am taking Paul casey too he looked good last week and taking Brandt snedeker who has done well here in past
lee cunliffe, just Snedeker for me – never sure how much The Masters takes out of players.
Paul Casey lands in the water at the par five 15th, his fifth, and was two over after six. But Matthew was going along at two under after five but then bogeyed six. Kevin Kisner had to fight for his one over after a double bogey at the par three 14. Snedeker was one over after seven, Luke Donald leads in the clubhouse with David Lingmerth at five under.
