THE leagues are returning thick and fast and one of those that has caught my eye is the restart of Germamy's 3. Liga (their third tier).
It's a league I'v kept an eye on from a far and with plenty of leagues to get involved in I'm going to concentrate on the goals and corners markets in a league that has them in abundance.
They are into their second round of matches since that restarted at the wee and Iv'e pocked out a total goals special and corners from the Magdeberg's trip to Wurzburger.
Germany 3. Liga Total goals special – 5 matches
Certainly no shortage of goals in this league with all 20 clubs averaging over 2.5 goals a game, with 14 of those hitting over 3.o goals which is impressive.
As we approach the business end of the season, its incredibly tight with just 5 points separating the top 12 teams. In fact with the exception of the bottom two clubs who are all but doomed, the remaining 18 clubs have something to play for.
Today there are 5 matches taking place, including, a Viktoria Koln side who have seen more goals than anyone else this season (3.75 per match) and Wurzburger Kickers haven't been shy of a goal with 20 of their 28 matches seeing at least 3 goals.
Questions marks about how playing behind closed doors would impact this sides bit it didn't appear to have any on match day 28 over the weekend when the 10 matches served up 35 goals
Skybet are offering total goals specials in this league and I'm happy to take it on given the sides involved and whats at stake.
Recommended Bet:
- 15+ goals to be scored
- 5/4 (Skybet)
FC Wurzburger Kickers vs FC Magdeburg (KO 6pm)
Magdeburg are one of these sides that from memory tend to rack up impressive corner counts and when I've dug a little deeper, it certainly appears to be the case.
Despite just sitting above the relegation spots in 15th place, they have the 6th best cotnmers for record in the league having racked up an impressive 5.93 corners per game. On the road, only three clubs have it more corners which is good going for a side in a relegation battle.
They travel Bavaria to play a Kickers side who themselves are no strangers to corners. They have the second best corners for record in the league with 6.5 corners per game and with them will in the hunt for promotion, it should be an open match with plenty at stake for both sides.
Recommended Bets:
- 10+ match corners 1/1 (Skybet)
- Magdeburg 4+ team corners 8/11 (Skybet)
- Magdeburg 5+ team corners 11/8 (Skybet)
Hi Greg, do you have a Nap or nb mate or you fancy them all equally?
Hi Jim – I fancy all of them to be honest but couldn’t decide on a NAP so just left it
Magdeburg have only scored in the first half twice this season, in 14 away games. They’re 1.61 not to score in the 1st 1/2 this match on B365
Nice one
Greg where do u find goals special on sky bet cheers
Sorry folks new to this n bit green finding my way round sky bet – any help appreciated.
It’s under football, in the specials section and then competition specials
Cheers for that found it just in time
Not looking good after half an hour unfortunately
sadly first half suggests all players have agreed to social distance themselves from any goalmouth action.
Think it’s a league left well alone
Still worth keeping an eye on given the previous stats, it might just take some time to warm up again after the restart. No harm done thanks to the corners bets.
