View our expert's Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Friday which features two both teams to score tips, an over 2.5 goals selection and a side to score 2+ goals.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Sandhausen vs Fortuna Düsseldorf – Both Teams to Score
Fortuna Düsseldorf will look to maintain their perfect start to their 2. Bundesliga campaign, as they travel to the BWT-Stadion am Hardtwald to take on Sandhausen.
Daniel Thioune’s have began their season with successive 2-1 wins over Magdeburg and Paderborn, whilst both of Sandhausen’s matches have also finished 2-1, firstly defeating recently relegated Arminia Bielefeld, before losing at Darmstadt last time out.
Alois Schwartz’s hosts have found the back of the net in 12 of their last 14 2. Bundesliga fixtures and will look to net against a Düsseldorf side that’s only kept three clean sheets in their last 17 league matches on the road.
However, Sandhausen have conceded in 15 of their last 16 league fixtures in front of their own supporters and I don’t see them keeping out a Düsseldorf attack that’s scored four times in their opening two league fixtures of the season.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich – Over 2.5 Goals
The Bundesliga kicks-off on Friday evening as perennial champions Bayern Munich travel to Deutsche Bank Park to take on last years Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt.
Bayern secured their 10th Bundesliga title in-a-row, whilst Oliver Glasner would of been disappointed with his sides 11th-placed finish.
Despite their dominance, FC Hollywood only managed four clean sheets on their travels in the Bundesliga last season and given they also conceded three against RB Leipzig in the DFL Super Cup last week, there’s every chance they’ll concede here.
However, Julian Nagelsmann’s side found the back of the net a staggering 97 times in the Bundesliga last season and scored five times In that match against Leipzig last weekend, meaning they may even cover the over 2.5 goal-line themselves.
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal – Both Teams to Score
As has often been the case in recent season’s, Arsenal kick-off the Premier League season, as they travel to Selhurst Park to take on bogey side Crystal Palace.
The Gunners missed out on a top-four finish by just two points, finishing behind bitter-rivals Spurs last season, whilst Patrick Vieira would of been content with his sides 12th-placed finish in his first season in South London.
Mikel Arteta’s visitors have been in fine form in pre-season, winning all five of their matches, scoring 20 goals in the process and they’ll be confident of getting on the scoresheet here.
The Eagles have found the back of the net in 15 of their last 18 fixtures at Selhurst Park and will look to trouble an Arsenal defence that conceded in each of their last six Premier League matches on the road.
Benfica to Score 2+
Benfica will begin their pursuit of the Primeira Liga title, as they play host to Arouca at the Estádio da Luz in the opening game of the Portuguese season.
For the second successive season, Benfica finished in third-spot, behind city-rivals Sporting CP and Porto, whilst the Arouquenses narrowly avoided relegation, finishing just three points outside of the automatic relegation places.
Armando Evangelista’s visitors managed just two wins on their travels last season and lost all four matches away to ‘The Big Three’ and Braga.
Only league winners Porto (86) found the back of the net on more occasions than The Eagles (78) last season and there’s a good chance new boss Roger Schmidt will see his side bag a brace in Lisbon on Friday night.
