WE are slowly getting back to normal with the return of some of our favourite Friday night leagues but that doesn't make it any easier for punters as clubs play for the first after a three week break.

Some clubs have also lost players so keep stakes sensible if you are betting on matches in France and Holland.

I've had a good look through the card and the French games are tough to call – it may take a few weeks to get a feel again who's worth backing.

Le Mans vs Auxerre looks the best shout for goals and I think we'll see at least two goals at Bramell Lane between Sheffield United and West Ham.

Le Mans vs Auxerre (KO 7pm)

After a horror start to the season, Le Mans are slowly finding their feet with four wins two draws and two defeats from their last 8 league  games.

Their last 5 have seen 19 goals scored and they welcome an Auxerre side who yet again are having a stuttering season. they don't keep many clean sheets and with Le Mans finding their shooting bots we should see at least two goals.

Auxerre definitely sunder achieving and need to end a run of 9 games without a win

Sheffield United vs West Ham (KO 8pm)

Hammers boss David Moyes can be satisfied with what he's seen so far from his squad but they face a tough test tonight Sheffield United side who have been the real surprise package of the season.

The blades are only a few points off 5th which is incredible and after a start which saw just 7 goals in their first 5 home games, matches have been far more open recently with 15 scored in the subsequent 5 games.

West Ham have seen over 1.5 goals in 19 of their last 22 on the road, fancy them to net here

Recommended Bet:

  • Over 1.5 goals double
  • 5/6 (Coral)

French Ligue 2 returns and although its difficult to suss out after the break, still worth backing the usual goals specials

Over 0.5 FHG goals is 37/1 but could be bigger and over 1.5 match goals generally 20/1

Thanks again Gregg, followed for a few years now , we have had some brilliant pay outs on over .5 I’m thinking of dropping the 1.5 as we have had nowhere near the success and at half the odds aswell , but hey ho first time I miss it will come in
