KevMac highlights his best football tips and predictions for Wednesday night's football action north and south of the border.
Hibs v Rangers
JACK ROSS is starting to come under pressure at Hibs so the visit of in-form Rangers tonight is the last thing he needs.
The Hibees flopped for the second semi-final in a row as they lost 3-0 to St Johnstone at the weekend.
On the same day Gers crushed Ross County 5-0 so it’s easy to see why they are McBookie’s 4/9 favourites here.
A Rangers win to nil has been a profitable bet all season and it’s 6/4 here with the same firm. But Ross’ side drew 2-2 with the leaders at home in September so doubling Gers with BTTS tempts me more at 19/10.
Ryan Porteous is always good value for a card in this fixture and that pays 9/4 with Bet365.
Celtic v Hamilton
Celtic remain mired in crisis but should still be too strong for Hamilton at Parkhead.
The Hoops have netted eight times in their two games with Accies this term so try Celtic -2 in the handicaps at evens with Paddy Power.
Tonight’s other Premiership games are hard to call but I’m going for a BTTS double in Dingwall and Dundee which pays 264/100 at McBookie.
Goals could be harder to come by in St Johnstone v Aberdeen and Livingston v Killie. A double on under 2.5 goals is priced 162/100 at McBookie.
Chelsea v Wolves
There are some big games in England and Chelsea begin life without Frank Lampard at home to Wolves.
Tammy Abrahams comes into the game on the back of a cup hat-trick and is 7/5 with Betfred for another goal.
Super Singles
- Ryan Porteous to be carded (9/4, Bet365)
- Celtic -2 (Evens, Paddy Power)
BTTS Double
- Ross County v M’Well and Dundee Utd v St Mirren (264/100, McBookie)
McBookie Star Bet
- Betfred Cup finalists Livingston are 23/20 to rack up yet another win when they host Killie
