Not much to look at today for me and i imagine folk will be looking at the same few games and trying to get creative with value so I’ve had a look at a few options. Games for me today come from Scotland Norway and China. First up it’s Celtic v Hamilton. The accies will come to Celtic park and work hard and sit in and try to keep it tight but I can’t see anything other than a resounding home win. I’m not a fan of this 5 subs rule, but the clubs voted for it and it’s here for this season, but imo it will only make things a lot harder for the smaller teams against Celtic. Yes they will be able to throw more fresh legs on but most teams will be replacing a first team player with a squad man or academy kid while the champions will be throwing on multi million pound internationalists and I reckon we will see a lot more goals as a result. For my NAP in going for a betbuilder from this game which has landed in all of celtics home league matches in 2020 and 3/4 of Hamilton’s last visits.

The other team I like today for goals is Shanghai SIPG, I kept an eye on their 1st game back last week and they were fairly impressive notching up a 3-1 away win. They’ve also signed Brazilian Ricardo Lopes from fellow afc champions league side jeonbuk and he scored 2 on his debut and will provide them with even more firepower this season alongside hulk and arnautovic. Today sees the jets take on western United in a match crucial to both teams playoff hopes. It’s highly unlikely the jets will qualify and they have to win to keep their hopes alive, but they have been on an impressive run since Carl Robinson took over with just 1 defeat and will be looking to continue that to keep momentum going for next season wether they make the playoffs or not. Unites have been in decent nick as well winning their last 3, however 2 of those matches were against the worst 2 teams in the league and the other was against an Adelaide side who had downed tools for their manager. I can see a tight game with both sides netting, I can’t call a winner but I can’t see the jets losing. United are not a great team for corners usually, they only average 3.5 a game whilst conceding 6, the jets average 6.1 a game so I’m gonna take the jets to win the corner count using hills build your odds.

There was 19 corners in the Celtic game today, admittedly Hamilton set up to have a go but even at that it’s plain to see Celtic are deploying both fullbacks to hit the bye line and get crosses in constantly which will generate corners, equally with that said it leaves them vulnerable to counter attacks and end up conceding a few themselves, might be a one off but worth noting for those that like a go in the overs corners
Well worth noting over40 – it’s a bit of a gamble playing the corner markets but there are definiely a few factors that can give a (sometimes temporary) edge over the bookies 👍
