After returning to winning ways in Poland on Monday, Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Champions League qualifiers, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Fenerbahce will look to overturn a one-goal deficit as they welcome Feyenoord to the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium this evening in the second leg of their Champions League third round qualifier, in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Jose Mourinho’s hosts have scored 26 goals across their 17 home matches in Europe since the beginning of last season, with 10 (38%) of them coming across their eight home clashes.
The Yellow Canaries have found the back of the net in all bar two of those 17 continental clashes – notching on multiple occasions in eight (53%) of them – and will be confident of breaching a Feyenoord backline that has kept just two clean sheets across their previous 13 Champions League fixtures, shipping 27 goals.
Robin van Persie’s visitors have scored 23 goals across their previous 13 Champions League contests, with 12 (52%) of them coming across their last six away from home.
The Rotterdam outfit have failed to score in just one of their previous 12 Champions League clashes – striking 2+ goals in six (50%) of them – and will look to breach a Fenerbahce defence that has kept just three clean sheets across their previous 17 European contests.

Fenerbahce’s previous 17 European clashes since the beginning of last season have averaged 3.00 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score paying out in an impressive 13 (76%) of them, whilst 11 (65%) have seen a minimum of three strikes.
Feyenoord’s 13 European contests since the beginning of last season have averaged an eye-catching 3.85 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out in 10 (77%) of them, whilst nine of their last 12 have seen goals at both ends.
Given the game state here, I’m expecting an open and entertaining second leg, with both teams contributing to a high-scoring game.
