Following on from Friday’s winner at Lille, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Spanish second tier, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the matches.

Two clubs separated by just two points in the Spanish Segunda table meet at the Estadi Ciutat de Valencia on Saturday evening as sixth-placed Levante entertains eighth-placed Granada in a fixture that appeals to me for goals at both ends.
Julian Calero’s visitors are the fourth-highest scorers in the Spanish Segunda this term, slamming in 33 goals across their opening 22 matches, with a joint league-high 21 (64%) of them coming in front of their supporters.
The Frogs have made the net bulge in all bar one of their 10 league outings on home soil – notching on multiple occasions in six of their past nine – and will look to breach a Granada backline that has kept a solitary shutout across their past nine Segunda fixtures on their travels, shipping multiple goals in six (67%) of them.
Fran Escriba’s visitors are the second-highest scorers in the Spanish second tier, slamming in 35 goals across their opening 22 matches, with 14 (40%) of them coming on their travels.
The Nasrids have failed to score in just three of their league outings – striking 2+ goals in nine of their past 18 – and will look to get on the scoresheet once again against a Levante defence that has registered a solitary shutout in front of their supporters this campaign.

What’s more, this fixture has a history of producing goals, with the past 12 meetings averaging 3.17 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score paying out in 10 (83%) of them – including in the reverse fixture at the end of October – and I’m happy to back both of these sides finding the target.
