After returning to winning ways at Vallecas on Thursday night, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the final round of action in the Ligue 1 season, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

It’s a massive game at the Stade de la Meinau on Saturday night as European-chasing Strasbourg hosts relegation-threatened Le Havre on the final night of the Ligue 1 season in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Liam Rosenior’s hosts have fired in 54 goals across their opening 33 Ligue 1 contests this season, with 31 (57%) of them coming on home soil.
Les Bleu et Blanc have found the back of the net in all bar two of their Ligue 1 clashes in front of their supporters this campaign – notching on multiple occasions in each of their last five and eight of their past nine – and will be confident of breaching a Le Havre backline that has conceded in all 27 of their matches against teams positioned in 14th and above, shipping 2+ goals in 18 (67%) of them.
Didier Digard’s visitors have scored 37 goals across their opening 33 Ligue 1 encounters this season, with 22 (59%) of them coming on their travels.
Le Club Doyen have found the back of the net in each of their previous 14 Ligue 1 outings – notching 2+ goals in five of their last six on the road – and will look to trouble a Strasbourg defence that has kept just four clean sheets in front of their supporters this season, and none in their past five.
