Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me stay in Iceland once more, and there is one fixture in the lower leagues that appeal to me for goals.

Two clubs separated only by goal difference in the Icelandic 4. deild karla go head-to-head on Thursday evening as 6th-placed KÁ plays host to 5th-placed KH in a fixture that promises goals.
KÁ are the second-highest scorers in the division, scoring 30 goals across their opening 11 matches, with 15 (50%) of those coming on home soil. KÁ have found the back of the net in 10/11 (91%) of their league contests – scoring at least twice in seven (64%) of them, as well as three or more in six (55%) of their encounters – and they will look to breach a KH defence that has registered a solitary shutout this season, conceding 26 goals across their opening 11 league contests.
KH are the third-highest scorers in the division, scoring 29 goals across their opening 11 matches, with 10 (34%) of those coming on their travels. KH have found the back of the net in 9/11 (82%) of their league contests this term – scoring three or more in six (55%) of them – and they will aim to trouble a KÁ defence that is yet to register a single clean sheet this term, conceding a whopping 30 goals across their opening 11 league outings.

Over 3.5 Goals has banked in 17/22 (77%) of the pair’s combined 4. deild karla fixtures this season – and given the reverse fixture finished in an incredible 5-5 draw at the end of May – I’m happy to have a punt on there to be at least four goals in what promises to be a high-scoring affair.
