Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the English Premier League, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Two clubs separated only by four points in the Premier League table meet at Craven Cottage on Thursday evening as 11th-placed Fulham entertain fourth-placed Brighton in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Marco Silva’s hosts have scored 18 goals across their opening 13 Premier League contests this campaign, with 10 (56%) of them coming across their six home fixtures.
The Cottagers have found the back of the net in each of their past 12 Premier League encounters – notching on multiple occasions in five (42%) of them – and will look to continue their goal-scoring record against a Brighton defence that’s recorded a solitary shutout across their previous nine Premier League contests, shipping 15 goals.
Fabian Hurzeler’s visitors have scored 22 goals across their opening 13 Premier League fixtures this season, with 10 (45%) of them coming across their six road trips.
The Seagulls have made the net bulge in all bar one of their Premier League encounters – notching on multiple occasions in eight (62%) of them – and will be confident of adding their goal-tally against a Fulham defence that has kept just two clean sheets in the league this season, with neither of those coming at home.

Fulham’s opening six Premier League fixtures in front of their supporters have averaged an eye-catching 3.50 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score banking in all six (100%) of them, whilst five (83%) have produced three or more goals.
Given Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals has also paid out in seven of Brighton’s past nine Premier League contests, I’m happy to have a punt on there being a minimum of three strikes, with both of these in-form attacks finding the target in West London on Thursday evening.
