Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Bundesliga, and there’s one side in particular that stands out to me for goals at home to their toiling opponents.

Freiburg will look to continue their push towards Champions League football as they welcome struggling Stuttgart to the Europa-Park Stadion tomorrow afternoon.
Freiburg suffered more away-day misery last weekend as they were thrashed 5-1 away at Borussia Dortmund in a match they were reduced to 10 men inside the opening 20 minutes. However, Christian Streich’s men are a different animal at home, as they head into this encounter unbeaten in each of their last eight Bundesliga fixtures as hosts (W6-D2-L0), winning five of their previous six.
After beginning his second stint in charge of Stuttgart with back-to-back draws, Bruno Labbadia has gone on to lose each of his next two Bundesliga matches, including a disappointing 0-2 defeat at home to Werder Bremen last Sunday which sees them slip down into the relegation playoff spot – three points adrift of automatic safety. Along with rock-bottom Schalke, Die Schwaben remain winless on their travels in the Bundesliga this season (W0-D4-L5), losing five of their previous six.

Freiburg have found the back of the net in 8/9 of their Bundesliga fixtures at home this season, scoring 16 goals. What’s more, the club from The Black Forrest have scored on multiple occasions in five of their previous six in front of their supporters, and they look a good bet to bag another double at home to a Stuttgart defence that has shipped 21 goals across their opening nine Bundesliga fixtures on the road this season, conceding two or more strikes in eight of those.
