Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the German Bundesliga, and I’ve come up with a bet builder featuring goals and cards in one of the fixtures.

Bochum will look to keep their survival hopes alive as they welcome 13th-placed Augsburg to the Vonovia-Ruhrstadion on Saturday afternoon in what should be a highly competitive clash.
Thomas Letsch’s hosts have scored 33 goals in the Bundesliga this term, with 22 of those coming at home. Der Blau have found the back of the net in 11/15 of their league encounters on home turf this season – including in 10 of their previous 12 – and they will look to breach an Augsburg defence that has kept only one clean sheet across their 15 Bundesliga matches on the road this campaign – shipping multiple strikes in 11 (73%) of those.
Augsburg have scored 40 goals in the German top-flight this campaign, with 24 of those coming away from home. Enrico Maaßen’s visitors have notched in all bar two of their 15 away trips this term – striking two or more goals in eight (53%) of them – and they’ll aim to trouble a Bochum defence that has recorded just four shutouts in the Bundesliga this season, conceding a league-high 69 goals.

No team has seen a higher percentage of their away fixtures in the Bundesliga seeing both teams scoring than Augsburg, with Both Teams to Score banking in 12/15 (80%) of the Bavarian's road trips this term – and given both teams have gotten on the scoresheet in seven of Bochum’s previous 10 in front of their supporters – I’m keen to have a punt on these two sides finding the back of the net here.
To bolster the odds, I’m more than happy to add in both teams to collect a card. Both sides have received a card in all 15 of Augsburg’s road trips in the Bundesliga this campaign, whilst the same has landed in 13/15 of Bochum’s home matches – including in each of their previous 11.
