Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Premier League match at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and I’ve come up with a bet builder featuring both goals and cards.
⚽️ Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United
🏴 Premier League
⏰ Thursday 7th December, 20:15
Tottenham Hotspur welcome London rivals West Ham to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow evening in what promises to be an entertaining encounter.
Ange Postecoglou’s hosts have scored 28 goals across their opening 14 Premier League fixtures this term, with 10 (36%) of them coming across their six home matches. Spurs have made the net bulge in all 14 (100%) of their league contests this season – striking on multiple occasions in 10 (71%) of them – and will be confident of breaching a Hammers defence whose solitary clean sheet in the Premier League this season came against rock-bottom Sheffield United, with them also shipping multiple goals in six of their last 10.
David Moyes’ visitors have scored 24 goals across their opening 14 Premier League fixtures this campaign, with 12 (50%) of them coming on their travels. The Hammers have found the back of the net in all bar one of their league outings this term – scoring on multiple occasions in eight (57%) of them – and will look to trouble a Spurs defence that has recorded just four shutouts in the league this season, with three (75%) of them coming against teams positioned in 14th and below.
Bet of the Day
Both Tottenham’s and West Ham’s opening 14 Premier League fixtures this season are averaging 3.43 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals clicking in 10/14 (71%) of Spurs’ league contests, including in 8/9 (89%) of them when facing clubs positioned in 13th and above – and given the same has also landed in 10/14 (71%) of the Hammers’s Premier League outings, including in all seven against the top-11 – I’m happy to have a punt on there to be at least three strikes in North London, with both sides getting on the scoresheet once again.
To nudge up the price, I’m happy to throw in the visitors to be shown a card. The Hammers have picked up at least one card in all 14 of their Premier League matches, whilst Spurs have drawn a card from all bar one of their Premier League opponents this season.
- Both Teams to Score, Over 2.5 Goals & West Ham United Over 0.5 Cards
- Pays 5/6 (Bet365/BetVictor Bet Builder)
