Friday’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me delve into the Dutch second-tier and I’ve a selection from both matches to give us a nicely priced double.

Dordrecht vs ADO Den Haag

🇳🇱 Eerste Divisie

⏰ Friday 25th March, 20:00

Two sides at opposite ends of the table meet at the Riwal Hoogwerkers Stadion, as Dordrecht host ADO Den Haag. The hosts come into this in 17th, five points clear of bottom side Helmond Sport, whilst the visitors are 5th, eight points adrift of the automatic-promotion places.

Dordrecht suffered just their third defeat from their last 12 matches last time out, as they lost 1-0 away to Telstar. In their last home match, they defeated TOP Oss 1-0, meaning they’ve won three and drawn three of their last six fixtures at home. Jan Zoutman’s side have found the back of the net in 18 of their last 21 Eerste Divisie matches, as well as in nine of their last 10 at home, scoring 19 times. Dordrecht have recorded just three clean sheets all season, with the Sheepheads also possessing the leagues leakiest defence, conceding on 67 occasions.

ADO Den Haag put an end to their four-match winless run last time out, as they claimed a 2-1 win at home to Telstar on Monday evening. Ruud Brood’s side have failed to win each of their last two away from home, but prior to that, they had won five of their previous six. ADO have found the back of the net in 15 of their last 17 fixtures in the Eerste Divisie, whilst only the three sides directly above them have scored more in the league than their tally of 63. The side from The Hague have conceded in 21/30 of their matches in the league this season, and they’ve also conceded in seven of their last nine away from home.

Eindhoven vs De Graafschap

🇳🇱 Eerste Divisie

⏰ Friday 25th February, 20:00

Two sides in contrasting form meet at the Jan Louwers Stadion, as Eindhoven host De Graafschap. The hosts are currently 4th, just five points off automatic promotion, while the visitors are currently 9th.

Eindhoven come into this off the back of successive draws against 5th-placed ADO Den Haag and 6th-placed Jong Ajax. Those two draws extended Eindhoven’s unbeaten run in the league to 13 matches (W8-D5-L0), a run that saw them win eight matches in a row. Only Volendam (35) have collected more points at home in the Eerste Divisie than Eindhoven, with the Blue-Whites taking 34 points from their 15 matches on home turf, losing just once (W10-D4-L1).

De Graafschap suffered their third defeat in-a-row last time out, as they lost 1-3 at home to lowly MVV, a result which saw coach Reinier Robbemond get the sack. Interim coach Jan Vreman takes over a side that’s failed to win each of their last six in league, failing to score in four of those. After winning eight of their opening 10 matches away from home in the Eerste Divisie, the Super Farmers have won just one of their last five on their travels, failing to score in four of them, and have lost each of their last two by a 2-0 score line.

Bet of the Day

Dordrecht come into this unbeaten in each of their last six at home but face an ADO Den Haag side that’s lost just three of their last 17 matches in the Dutch second-tier. The hosts have found the back of the net in 18 of their last 21 fixtures, as well as in nine of their last 10 at home, whilst the visitors have scored in 15 of their last 17 in the league. Given both sides aren’t particularly tight at the back, plus their record in-front of goal, there’s a good chance we’ll see both sides score here. De Graafschap sacked their manager following a six-match winless run, including losing each of their last three and face a tough test away to an Eindhoven side unbeaten in their last 13. The hosts have lost just once at home this season (W10-D4-L1) and I can’t see them losing here against their out-of-form opponents.
