After returning to winning ways at Gillette Stadium in the early hours of Sunday morning, Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Korean top flight, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Two clubs at the wrong end of the K League 1 table meet at the Anyang Sports Complex on Tuesday morning as 10th-placed Anyang hosts bottom side Daegu in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Anyang have scored 24 goals across their opening 22 K League 1 fixtures this season, with 13 (54%) of them coming in front of their supporters.
Ryu Byeong-hoon’s hosts have failed to score in just three of their home matches this term – notching on multiple occasions in 4/4 (100%) against teams positioned in eighth and below – and will be confident of breaching a Daegu defence that has shipped 2+ goals in each of their previous 10 road trips, conceding 23 goals.
Daegu have also scored 24 goals across their opening 22 matches in the Korean top flight this term, with 11 (46%) of them coming on their travels.
Park Chang-hyun’s hosts have found the back of the net in 15 (68%) of their league outings this campaign – including in seven of their last eight and eight of their past 10 road trips – and will look to get on the scoresheet once again away from home against an Anyang defence that has kept just three clean sheets in the league this season, with none of those coming in any of their last 15 contests.

Daegu’s opening 22 matches in the Korean top flight have averaged a league-high 2.91 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out in a league-high 15 (68%) of them.
Those numbers rise on their travels, with their opening 11 road trips averaging 3.09 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in nine (82%) of them, including in each of their last eight (2-1, 3-1, 2-1, 2-2, 2-1, 2-1, 3-0 & 2-2).
What’s more, these two sides played out a 2-2 draw at this venue at the beginning of May, and I’m prepared to have a play on there being three or more here.
