After recording back-to-back winners courtesy of Basel’s late goal at Freiburg on Wednesday, Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me turn my attention to the EFL, and there’s one team in particular that I’m keen to get on side.

Two clubs at opposite ends of the League One table meet at the Valley Parade on Saturday afternoon as leaders Bradford host 22nd-placed Blackpool, in a fixture that I’m keen to get the hosts on side.
Bradford have made an impressive start to life in League One following their long-awaited promotion from the fourth tier last term, as they sit top of the table after picking up 20 points from their opening nine matches (W6-D2-L1).
It’s at home where they’ve really impressed, with Graham Alexander’s winning each of their opening four contests, slamming in 10 goals in the process (2-1, 2-1, 3-2 & 3-1).
Blackpool managed to claim their second win of the campaign last weekend, as a stoppage-time winner from Jordan Brown sealed a 1-0 victory over Barnsley.
Despite that result, Steve Bruce’s visitors remain in the relegation zone, a point adrift of safety, with their poor away form not helping them.
The Tangerines are yet to pick up a single point on their travels this campaign, losing all four, failing to even score a goal in each of their last three.
Bet of the Day
As alluded to, Bradford City still boast a 100% record at home in the league this campaign, winning each of their opening four League One tussles at Valley Parade.
In fact, going back to last year when in League Two, The Bantams have won 17 of their previous 19 league matches at Valley Parade (W17-D1-L1), and I’m expecting them to collect another three points on home soil against a Blackpool side that has lost all four of their league encounters on their travels this season.
Can back Bradford at Evens (Unibet) or 19/20 at the likes of PaddyPower and William Hill, but I’d rather take the extra security with Bet365’s early payout offer.
