Other than failing to score away at Lille on MD2 and Liverpool on MD4, Los Blancos have made the net bulge in their other seven Champions League encounters, notching on multiple occasions in six (67%) of them – even bagging 3+ in each of their last four – and will fancy their chances against a Manchester City defence that is without a clean sheet in each of their last six Champions League fixtures, shipping two or more goals in five (83%) of them.
Pep Guardiola’s visitors have scored 20 goals across their opening nine Champions League encounters this campaign, with seven (35%) of them coming across their four road trips.
After a goalless draw with a well-organised Inter side on MD1, The Citizens have made the net bulge in all bar one of their next eight Champions League matches – notching on multiple occasions in six (75%) of them – and will be confident they can trouble a Real backline that has registered a solitary shutout in the Champions League this season, shipping multiple goals in five of the last seven.

Following on from that goalless draw with The Nerazzurri on MD1, Manchester City’s next eight Champions League fixtures have averaged an eye-watering 4.63 goals per game, with Over 3.5 Goals paying out in seven (88%) of them.
What’s more, these two sides have faced off nine times in the Champions League in the past five years, with those matches averaging an eye-catching four goals per game – with Over 3.5 Goals landing in five of the last seven – and I’m expecting another high-scoring encounter between these two sides at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.
