Italy will look to maintain their position at the top of League A Group 2 in the Nations League on Thursday night as they travel to Brussels to take on Belgium at the King Baudouin Stadium in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Domenico Tedesco’s hosts have scored six goals across their opening four Nations League fixtures this campaign, with four (67%) of them coming across their two home fixtures.
The Red Devils have found the back of the net in three (75%) of their Nations League fixtures – only failing to do so away to France – and will look to breach an Italian defence that is yet to record a clean sheet in any of their Nations League fixtures this term.
Luciano Spalletti’s visitors have slammed in an impressive 11 goals across their opening four Nations League fixtures, with five (45%) of them coming on their travels.
The Azzurri have found the back of the net in all four (100%) of their Nations League fixtures – scoring a minimum of two goals in each of them – and will look to continue their impressive form in front of goals against a Belgium backline that has yet to record a clean sheet in any of their four Nations League contests, shipping multiple goals in each of their past three.

Italy’s opening four Nations League fixtures this campaign have averaged an eye-catching four goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out on each occasion – and given the same has landed in 3/4 (75%) of Belgium’s Nations League fixtures, including both on home soil – I’m hoping we see a similarly high-scoring encounter to the four goals these two nations shared in the reverse fixture in Rome just last month.
