Monday’s Football Bet of the Day see’s me delve back into the Dutch second-tier and I there’s a fixture that stands out to me for goals.

Dordrecht vs Top Oss

🇳🇱 Eerste Divisie

⏰ Monday 14th March, 19:00

Two sides separated by just five points in the Eerste Divisie table meet at the Riwal Hoogwerkers Stadion, as Dordrecht host Top Oss. The hosts come into this in 18th, whilst the hosts lie in 12th position.

Dordrecht were part of a six-goal thriller last time out, as they drew 3-3 with Jong Ajax. Jan Zoutman’s side have now lost just two of their last 10 matches (W4-D4-L2) and are unbeaten in each of their last five at home. Dordrecht have found the back of the net in 23/29 of their league fixtures this season, including in 17 of their last 19. No side has kept fewer clean sheets in the division than Dordrecht, with them shutting out just two of their opponents. No side has conceded more goals in the league than Dordrecht, with the Sheepheads conceding on 66 occasions.

Top Oss saw their two-match unbeaten run come to an end last time out, as they lost 1-2 at home to Roda JC. That loss last time out was just Bob Peeters side fourth defeat in their last 13 matches (W5-D4-L4), with all four defeats coming against sides currently in the top-seven. Oss have found the back of the net in 22/27 of their league fixtures this season, including in 12 of their last 13. TOP have recorded just four clean sheets so far this season, with just one of those coming in their 14 matches away from home.

Bet of the Day

Both Dordrecht and Top Oss have improved in recent months and will both be confident of collecting all three points. These two have scored 81 goals between them season and with Dordrecht scoring in 17 of their last 19 and the visitors scoring in 12 of their last 13. Both have struggled defensively this season, with them conceding in 52 of their 58 combined matches this season. Given both teams records at both ends of the pitch and their current form, we should see goals in this one, therefore, I’m happy to back both sides to score and for there to be three or more goals in the match.
