After suffering VAR heartbreak for the second time in two days in South Korea on Sunday, Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me look at the international action, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the friendlies.

I’m generally not one to get involved in friendlies, but I’m happy to back goals at Windsor Park on Tuesday night as Northern Ireland plays hosts to Iceland.
Michael O’Neill’s hosts have scored 21 goals across their previous 14 internationals, with 14 (67%) of those coming in front of their supporters.
The Green and White Army have made the net bulge in 12 of those 14 internationals – notching on multiple occasions in five of their last six at Windsor Park – and will be confident of breaching an Iceland backline that has kept just one clean sheet across their past eight internationals, shipping 19 goals.
Iceland have scored 15 goals across their previous nine internationals, with eight (53%) of them coming on their travels.
Arnar Gunnlaugsson’s visitors have found the back of the net in each of their previous nine internationals – striking 2+ goals in five (56%) of them – and will look to get on the scoresheet once again against a Norn Iron backline that has shipped 10 goals across their past four internationals.

Iceland’s matches have been fun to follow for the past few years, with goals generally being a feature in their games.
Their last eight have averaged an eye-catching four goals per game, with Both Teams to Score paying out in seven (88%) of them, including in a 1-3 victory at Hampden against Scotland on Friday night.
