Tuesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the second leg of the Bundesliga II playoff, and I’m expecting to see plenty of goals, particularly from the home side.

Following their 4-0 thrashing in the first leg last Friday, Arminia Bielefeld are on the brink of successive relegations as they welcome Wehen Wiesbaden to the SchücoArena in a match they must simply go for goals.
Uwe Koschinat’s hosts scored 50 goals in the German second-tier this term, with 28 of those coming in front of their supporters. Die Arminen have made the net bulge in 13/17 of their league contests on home soil – striking on multiple occasions in nine of their previous 15 – and should be capable of breaching a Wehen Wiesbaden defence that recorded only three clean sheets across their 19 away assignments in the German third tier this season.
Wehen Wiesbaden were the second-highest scorers in the German third tier this term, scoring 71 goals, with a league-best 34 of those coming on their travels. Markus Kauczinski’s visitors have found the back of the net in all bar two of their 19 league fixtures on the road – scoring on multiple occasions in nine (47%) of them – and will look to breach a Bielefeld defence that registered a league-low two clean sheets in the 2. Bundesliga this campaign.

After that 4-0 thrashing in the first leg, Arminia Bielefeld simply have to go all-out attack here, and I’m happy to have a punt on them to score at least twice, something they have managed in nine of their previous 15 2. Bundesliga fixtures on home turf.
