FEB 3: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

THIS is one that might come back to haunt me but I'm tipping both teams to score in the late French game.

Recently these 8pm kick-offs have finished 1-0 either but Marseille v Nancy should buck the trend.

It really stand out as a game where both should score with Marseille's last three producing 13 goals – with both scoring in all three. Nancy's last six have seen both net with 20 goals counting in that spell.

If this game lets us down I'll promise not to pick the late French game again – or eat a handful of cloves of garlic!

Kicking off just before the French game is Milan v Udinese. Historically this fixture is as goal packed as you can get with 34 goals in last seven meetings – including a 4-4, 4-1, 5-1 and two
3-2s. Both teams have netted in all seven so let's hope this is No.8.

While I'm on the late games I might as well pop in Valencia v Barcelona. The visitors are expected to win this one but Aston Villa keep more clean sheets these days than the La Liga leaders.

Barca's last six have featured both scoring and they've conceded 10 in that time. Luckily they have Lionel Messi doing the bulk of the damage at the other end.

Valencia have scored exactly two goals three times and no goals three times in the last six meetings – so hopefully we'll see the former turning up.

Kicking off at the same time is Real Sociedad v Mallorca and that should also produce. Both have netted in Sociedad's last five including a 3-2 defeat of Barca and 4-3 loss to Real Madrid.

Mallorca's last six have seen both net and they've lost their last three 3-2, 3-2 and 3-1.

Finally complete the line with Bayer Leverkusen v Borussia Dortmund – or should be start it here. Bayer are on a fantastic run of five successive home wins and this will be a test for the visiting champs.

Both have netted in five of their last six playings of this fixture and Dortmund look somewhere approaching their best after winning their last four and banging in 16 goals.
