IT'S a packed card tonight but there is no doubt the most-viewed match will be the Spanish Cup El Clasico second leg.
The first leg was more fascinating than fabulous and a 1-1 draw means it's all to play for at the Nou Camp.
Since that game Barca's crown has slipped slightly. They'll be kings of Spain at the end of the season but maybe nor rulers of Europe.
Lionel Messi and co went down 2-0 to Milan in their Champions League last-16 first leg and face a mountain to climb when the Italians visit.
That game showed good teams with great discipline can rumble Barca and there is every chance of Real upsetting them tonight with Jose Mourinho targeting this trophy after long ago giving up on a title defence. Mourinho has only lost one of the last six against his fierce rivals
Barcelona are just 1-2 with bet365 to reach the Final but I prefer Real at 15-8 with BetVictor. A draw that scores higher than 1-1 is good enough and I can picture a 2-2 which was the result when they last met there in October.
To win on the night Barca are a biggest 7-10 at William Hill and BetVictor while Real are 9-2 at boylesports and bet365. But I'm on the draw at 10-3 with boylesports.
In the last 12 games Barca have kept just one clean sheet which is remarkable for a side so superior to the rest in the league.
Both teams have netted inthe last 11 El Clasicos so that's why both teams to score pays just 4-9 at Ladbrokes and others and over 3.75 goals is just 27-20 at bet365.
Messi (11-4, Stan James) and Cristiano Ronaldo (9-2, Coral) will attract the bulk of the first-scorer cash and to score at anytime it's Messi (3-5, BetVictor) and Ronaldo (5-4, BetVictor).
Both are incredibly short but is there value elsewhere? I'm not sure there is.
Recommendations
Real to qualify
(15-8, BetVictor)
Over 3.75 goals
(27-20, bet365)
Ronaldo to score
(5-4, BetVictor)
I like the look of time of first booking 31 mins – half time is 11/2 with William Hill. Same bet is 7/2 with Paddy Power.
Chris, only problem is it might be earlier. Could be fiery.
real madrid to win in extra time 40/1 wi skybet.
can see somebody getting sent off tonight too, am only on btts in a 4fold tonight wi btts bologna/fiorentina and sassulo amd auxerre both DNB at 11/2
Have to disagree with your tip for Madrid to qualify mrfixit,i cant see beyond a barce victory in this 1,can see both teams scoring as they both have on last 11 matchups in all comps but cant go against a team that has won 22 of 25 games in the lg this season, has scored 21 conceding 4 in last 5 home games whilst winning them all,Madrid away from home have won 2 lost 2,9 for and 5 against,so who on those stats does it point to winning? my CERT OF THE DAY:Barcelona to win!!,over 2.5 goals and Messi to score,im thinking you are all getting a little carried away with ”Jose is under pressure and needs a victory”im under financial pressure and need a winning bet but that doesnt give me a guarantee ;)..leaving myself open to attack if it goes t*ts up but there you go :)
Sean, you can’t judge Barca on La Liga form. After a poor start they basically gave it up knowing they couldn’t catch Barca. I’m going by head-to-heads and Champions League form. At the end of the day if Messi is inspired Barca can be unstoppable but if he is denied freedom the way he was in Milan then Real can win. I can’t see how anyone could say it was Cert of the Day. I believe it could either way but someone has to qualify and I’m taking a chance on Real who have lost one of the past six meetings between the sides.
Got £10 on Pique first goal @ 50/1 and £5 on Busquets first goal @ 80/1 both with Betfair.
I think it might be the Messi show the night fancy him to score a brace enabling him to pass Di Stefano and take the crown of highest ever scorer in Clasicos
Messi and Ronaldo anytime double @ 11/4. Not great odds but as u say Paul,it really is all about those 2
Barcelona Team – Pinto, Alves, Piqué, Puyol, Jordi Alba, Sergio, Xavi, Cesc, Pedro, Iniesta and Messi

Over 3.75 goals
(27-20, bet365)
