IT'S a big night of Championship action and there's a few games that catch the eye for goals.
Norwich's haul of 34 goals at Carrow Road makes them the most prolific home team in the division and they host league leaders Newcastle side who have the highest total, 25, for an away side.
It's also a fixture that has seen plenty of strikes in recent history. The meeting at St James' Park this season finished 4-3 to the Toon and last term in the Premier League the two matches produced 16 goals.
Norwich are top of the form table for 2017 and have netted 2+ in four of their last five to help save boss Alex Neil's job. The Canaries are likely to have a right go tonight as they chase a play-off spot and with Newcastle more than capable of netting against a defence that is far from waterweight I'm on over 2.5 match goals at 117-100 with Marathonbet.
Sheffield Wednesday currently occupy the final play-off spot but I don't see them slipping up against third-bottom Blackburn. The Owls have new signing Jordan Rhodes leading the line against his former club and he can pile on the misery for a Rovers side who've kept just one clean sheet on the road, losing nine of their 14 away games.
Sheff Wed have won 10 of 14 at home and while they haven't been the most profilic scorers at Hillsborough the addition of Rhodes is a masterstroke and they look decent value to score 2+ at 17-20 with William Hill.
I'm doubling that up with fellow play-off hopefuls Fulham to bag at least a couple at home to trouble-torn Nottingham Forest. Fulham have netted at least twice in six of their last seven home matches in the Chamionship and face a Forest side who have a caretaker manager for the rest of the season and are missing first-choice keeper Stephen Henderson plus defender and skipper Eric Lichaj. That weakens an already dodgy defence who have shipped 2+ in seven of their last eight on the road.
Single
Norwich v Newcastle over 2.5 goals
(117-100, Marathonbet)
Double
Sheff Wed to score 2+
Fulham to score 2+
(9-5, Coral)
Good luck with those Scott, had BTTS between Newcastle and Norwich noted down. Believe Gayle is back tomorrow but will probably only make it to the bench, that put me off with him being a focal point of the attack.
Carlisle be my banker g.g.yet again.really fancy Mansfield at 11-10 tonight bang in form Huddersfield and Wimbledon for the treble.
Well done Scott!
Cheers mate. Unlucky with yours – a mad night in Mansfield.
