THE Champions League resumes tonight with two cracking matches that could be thrillers.

First legs are often cagey but PSG and Benfica will know they need to take leads to Barcelona and Dortmund to have any chance of reaching the last eight.

Both to score in the two ties is possible and pays a best 2-1 at 188BET.

Paris is the city of love and on St Valentine's Day punters will be hoping for goals galore and maybe some cards too – as long as they're yellow and red.

PSG have been in fabulous form, winning nine out of 10 this year and scoring 29, and face a Barca side in equally good shape with eight victories, two draws and 31 netted.

The Spaniards have MSN raring to go while PSG'S Edinson Cavani has 25 Ligue 1 goals this season and six in six Champions League group matches.

So everything points to goals and alternatives to btts are over 2.5 match goals at 22-25 with Marathonbet and over 3.5 at 21-10 with McBookie.

Barca have won 3-1 and lost 3-2 on previous visits to Paris so maybe this could be a scoring draw at 18-5 with McBookie.

To win Barca are favourites at 16-13 with 888sport and PSG as big as 13-5 at bet365.

Dortmund won their group ahead of Real Madrid and netted 14 in two games against Legia Warsaw so deserve respect.

However, they've won just one in seven and crashed 2-1 to Bundesliga basement boys Darmstadt at the weekend.

It isn't form to take to a tough venue such as the Stadium of Light and the Portuguese look a big price at 9-4 with betfair. I don't think they'll lose so take draw no bet at 67-50 with Marathonbet.

Both to score pays just under evens and is preferable to over 2.5 goals as it be slightly cagier than the Paris match.

Bets to Consider

PSG v Barca over 2.5 goals

PSG v Barca score draw

Benfica v Dortmund btts

Benfica had two defeats in a row and that doesn’t happen often.
Jonas is in doubt (class player) and zivkovic is still out because he was sent off while he still played in Partizan.
Salvio could be back. My major concern hes our defence. If Benfica can break that first line of pression of Dortmund he can get a good result. Hope Fejsa and Pizzi will be at their best.
I’m going for a win for Benfica.
It’s gonna be a great environment on the stadium, i can tell you that!
Good luck to all of you!

    Barcelona win @ 2.37 betfair

PSG have only lost once in their last 42 home games in European competition won 26, drawn 15 with three of those draws coming this season group stage they where all score draws . That defeat came against Barcelona in April 2015 in the Champions League quarter-finals 1-3. PSG have never kept a clean sheet against Barcelona in nine games in all competitions and with the 3 amigo’s up top for Barcelona and Iniesta getting a run out at weekend it can only put more pressure on PSG ,

PSG player Edinson Cavani has score six goals this season in CL, but he has never scored in 350 minutes of Champions League action against Barcelona and with him the main goal getter I can see Barcelona getting a win tonight , Barcelona have Vidal out injured but have Pique or Alba that can step into the back four ,

Barcelona have top scorer Messi with 10 goals Neymar and Suarez have both scored 2 goals each leading the line where as PSG Cavani scored 6 goals with next goal scorers Di Maria and Matuidi on 2 goals
