In this article, we have provided our Fantasy Premier League tips & predictions ahead of Gameweek 26 of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game.
After two double gameweeks in a row, FPL resorts back to a more familar single gameweek in Gameweek 26.
There are some very interesting matches ahead, especially at the top of the Premier League table. Second-placed Arsenal plays host to fellow London rivals West Ham, encouraged by title rivals Liverpool dropping points in a 2-2 draw away at Aston Villa in midweek. Meanwhile, the Reds themselves face another potentially daunting fixture away at the current reigning champions Manchester City.
Nonetheless, here are our latest FPL tips that should hopefully help make all of those informed transfer, chip and captaincy decisions needed ahead of the deadline…
Our Fantasy Premier League tips
FPL gives out points based on player performances, which can be both positive and negative. It can range from a player scoring a goal (positions are given more points than others, for example a defender will gain six points for scoring a goal as opposed to four for a forward) or being shown a yellow card (-1pt), as well as many other metrics.
Who to have as FPL captain
In Gameweek 26, if you own him, Mohamed Salah is perhaps the most viable captaincy option given his irresistible form for Liverpool in the 2024/25 campaign, which continued with a goal and an assist in their most recent fixture in the 2-2 draw away at Villa.
However, for those who do not own Salah or want to pick a differential captain, Alexander Isak (£9.5m) could also be a viable option as Newcastle play host to Nottingham Forest at St. James' Park, with the visitors having lost their previous two games in the Premier League away from home by an aggregate score of 7-1.

Should the triple-captain chip be used?
Assuming that Salah is the most viable captain choice in Gameweek 26, using the triple-captain chip on him seems very tempting given the big FPL hauls that we know that he is capable of.
However, we would always advise, if it has not been used already, to use the chip in a double gameweek, where teams play more than one fixture and therefore give more of a chance of a big points haul for the captain.
Who is likely to get booked?
Bournemouth assets are becoming popular in the FPL community given their very impressive form in the 2024/25 campaign, and the fact that they have some relatively favourable fixtures coming up on paper in the Premier League, including playing host to relegation-threatened Wolves at the Vitality Stadium in Gameweek 26.
Ryan Christie (£4.9m) could be one of those given his affordable price in the game and the fact that he scored a humungous 13 points last time out by recording both a goal and an assist in Bournemouth's 3-1 victory away at rock-bottom Southampton. However, the Scotland international midfielder has the joint-most yellow cards in the division with a total of nine so far to his name this season, and just one more would see him serve a two-game suspension.
Market-best odds on Ryan Christie to be booked: 4/1
Which defender is most likely to score?
Arsenal's Brazilian central defender Gabriel Magalhaes (£6.3m) is always a threat aerially from set pieces, and is currently one of the highest-scoring defenders in the Premier League with a total of three goals to his name so far in the 2024/25 campaign. A relatively favourable fixture on paper against struggling West Ham at the Emirates Stadium awaits the Gunners in Gameweek 26, and not many people would put it past Gabriel to find the back of the net from a set piece.
Market-best odds on Gabriel Magalhaes to score anytime: 6/1
Our top three cheap in-form players
Dango Outtara
Dango Outtara (£5.1m) is listed as a midfielder in FPL, but is currently playing as a makeshift striker for Bournemouth. He has done very well in that position as well, recording no fewer than 34 points over the last four gameweeks, and so provides plenty of attacking threat for his relatively cheap price in the game.
Beto
Beto (£4.9m) seems like the best cheap forward in the game to own right now. Indeed, he has scored no fewer than four times in his last three matches in the Premier League, as Everton host a fragile Manchester United at home next up.
Kevin Schade
Kevin Schade (£5.1m) provides another cheap midfield option that could score highly in FPL. Indeed, the Brentford man boasts a total of 22 points scored over the previous three gameweeks, as the Bees look forward to a relatively favourable fixture on paper against Leicester at the King Power Stadium coming up.
