The Premier League is back this weekend, which means for the first time this season, all 92 teams in the Premier League and EFL will be in action.
Liverpool and Bournemouth will kick things off on Friday night before Leeds and Everton will wrap things up at Elland Road on Monday night.
Across the four divisions, there are plenty of opportunities in the football pools, as we look to accumulate as many points as possible from the scoring system outlined below.
- Score draw: 3 points
- No-score draw (0-0): 2 points
- Home or away win: 1 point

Brighton vs Fulham (Premier League)
Brighton vs Fulham is the standout fixture this weekend in the Premier League when it comes to picking a draw. Last season, the two teams were separated by just three places in the middle of the table and neither one of them has had a major squad transformation over the summer.
Over the course of the 24/25 campaign, only three teams drew more matches than Brighton, while only one drew more games at home. Fulham also racked up their fair share of draws with nine.
Leeds vs Everton (Premier League)
The final Premier League match of the weekend, Leeds vs Everton, is also primed for a draw. Elland Road will be bouncing, and home advantage could give the Whites the push they need to ensure they don't succumb to an opening weekend defeat.
What helps their cause is the fact that they are playing against last season's draw masters. Everton drew a total of 15 Premier League matches last season at an average close to one every 2.5 games.
Preston vs Leicester (Championship)
Speaking of draw masters, there is no side across the entire EFL that drew more matches than Preston last season. The Lilywhite racked up an incredible 20 draws in the league last season and have started this season in the same vein, playing out a 1-1 draw with QPR last week.
Leicester may have been a Premier League outfit last season, but they didn't look good on the opening weekend of the season. They struggled against Sheffield Wednesday at home, and a similar performance this weekend could land them in trouble. This isn't a team that is going to blow the rest of the division away like they did last time they were in the second tier.
Ipswich vs Southampton (Championship)
Ipswich vs Southampton is a clash between two relegation-threatened teams in the Championship, and just like Leicester, neither one of them looked overly impressive on the opening weekend of the season.
Southampton needed late goals to overcome Wrexham, while Ipswich needed a last-minute penalty to earn a point against Birmingham. There is every chance these two just cancel each other out on Sunday, as a loss to a fellow promotion candidate this early could be severely damaging.
Burton Albion vs Port Vale (League One)
Port Vale are one of just four teams in League One to have drawn a match so far this season, which is quite rare considering 24 matches have already been played. Burton Albion, meanwhile, drew a total of 14 matches in the division last season, at a rate of one draw every three games.
