Brest vs Lille (Saturday, 20:00)
Brest and Lille lock horns in Ligue 1 at the Stade Francis-Le Ble on Saturday night.
Eric Roy’s hosts moved into the top half of the table with a narrow 1-0 win over Montpellier last weekend.
As for fifth-placed Lille, they remain firmly in the mix for Champions League qualification despite drawing 1-1 with Marseille last time out.
That stalemate means both teams have scored in four of Lille’s last five league games, so that trend could be one to follow again this weekend.
There have also been goals at both ends in five of Brest’s last six matches in the French top flight.
It’s also worth mentioning that the two teams shared four goals between them when they met earlier this season.
Monaco vs Lyon (Saturday, 20:00)
Monaco and Lyon will square off at the Stade Louis II in Ligue 1 on Saturday night.
Adi Hutter’s side gave their hopes of securing a top three finish a massive shot in the arm by winning 3-1 away at St Etienne last weekend.
Lyon, in contrast, dropped down to seventh place in the table after coming up short in a 2-1 loss at home to Lens.
Given that a draw really doesn’t suit either side here, it makes sense to back both teams to get on the scoresheet.
BTTS has been a recurring theme in Monaco’s matches in recent months, with this bet paying out in 13 of their last 17 Ligue 1 outings.
As for Lyon, both teams have contributed to the scoring in each of their last seven league games.
Rennes vs Nice (Saturday, 20:00)
Nice will be looking to claim a fourth Ligue 1 win in succession when they travel to Rennes on Saturday night.
Franck Haise’s side sit fourth in the table and are now just two points off second spot after last week’s 1-0 win over Reims.
Meanwhile, Rennes are down in 11th place after losing 2-1 away at Toulouse last weekend.
Habib Beye’s hosts usually get on the scoresheet at home more often than not and they can make their mark against a Nice side that struggles to keep clean sheets away from home.
That goes hand in hand with the fact that both teams have scored in 23 of Nice’s 32 matches in Ligue 1 this season.
