I'VE been quite critical of the EPL since its return and it's been justifiable criticism given some of the dross that has been served up over the last few weeks.

Its been painful to watch and there haven't been too many games to write home about – the lack of goals has been well documented, escpailly the severe number of half time 0-0's (which again landed last night).

I've only ventured into the EPL once since its return and that was on Spurs corners  last week which came in comfortably and its another corners bet I'm on tonight as Manchester United make the tricky trip to the south coast to face a Brighton side who can be delighted with their 4pts haul from their games against Arsenal and Leicester.

Its another must win for the visitors as they look to close the gap on 4th placed Chelsea for that last UCL spot and I like the look of United to maintain their strong performances in the corners markets.

There's also 7 matches from the Championship and it's a  leagues that's seen much more in the way of goals. Sides starting to get back onto their rhythm and they'll be aided by much cooler conditions in comparison to the last few weeks which will hopefully aid the tempo.

Brighton vs Manchester United (KO 8pm)

Its been a decent enough return to action for United, a draw away at Spurs, comfortable victory at home to Sheffield United and through to the Semi final's of the FA cup

They've collected  some good corner counts in those game – 6 at spurs, 10 at home against Sheffield  and 7 on Saturday at Norwich and with the 4th highest corner count in the league on the road (5.9 per game), given the importance of this match. theirs a good chance they'll hit 6+ for the 4th consecutive game

Brighton have been a real surprise package since returning and they wont be sitting back tonight which could benefit United's pace on the break

Recommended Bet:

  • Manchester United 6+ team corners
  • 10/11 (NAP) (Skybet)

English Championship Total Goals  – 7 Matches

Some good looking matches tonight, the cobwebs blown away and much better conditions to play football in will hopefully help deliver some goals

The total goal markets are set reasonably at 8/11 for 18+ but going to take 19+ at 11/10 based on the match ups

Recommended Bets:

  • 19+ total goals
  • 11/10 (Skybet

All 9 matches over 1.5 match goals also worth taking on at a big 9/1
