IT'S been a long summer but at last real football is back and I'm concentrating on the Scottish leagues this week where there is a little bit of form after the Betfred Scottish Cup ties.
First up are Johnb's Hibs at home to Partick Thistle. Newly-promoted Hibs will be looking to get off to a winning start here and I like Ladbrokes' offer of 11-10 on them scoring 2+ goals to add to their 13 goals netted in their four cup-ties.
Next up are Queen of the South at home to Brechin. The Doonhamers should take care of the new boys in the Championship and are 4-6 to score 2+ goals against a side conceding nine goals in their four Betfred Cup ties.
Going for a straight three points double which pays 5-2 at Ladbrokes.
Other goals bets I like the look of this Saturday are a both teams to score double of St Mirren v Falkirk and Arbroath v Queen's Park, one point at 7-4 and an over 2.5 goals treble in games at Albion Rovers, Annan and Berwick, one-point treble pays 4-1. A roll-up of all seven pays 47-1.
