Gents, a very difficult time for us all and the messages on this site and Twitter really show how much respect and how well thought of Mr Fixit was.

I know for sure that he would want the show to go on as he absolutely loved a Saturday afternoon football betting and trying to get one over the bookies.

Two teams l like the look of to score 2+ goals are both at home in the Championship. Preston take on Wycombe where the hosts will be looking to transform their away form to Deepdale.

There has been so many upsets this season with seemingly no home advantage as Preston's 18 goals scored away compared to 2 at home proves.

Anyway l fancy Preston to score 2+goals against a Wycombe side conceding an average of 2 goals against away from home.

Next up are Watford at home to Cardiff. Again strange form here with Watford scoring only 1 goal away in their last three away games but winning their last three at home and scoring 10 times.

l like Ladbrokes 5/4 on them scoring 2+goals against a Cardiff side conceding five goals in their last three away games against much weaker opposition.

Going for a straight three points double that pays 3/1.

Other goals bets l like the look of today are a Both Teams to Score Double at Northampton v Doncaster and Barrow v Salford, 1 point at 2/1 and an Over 2.5 Goals Treble of Bradford, Cheltenham and Elgin, 1 point at 9/2.

To Score 2+ Goals

  • Preston
  • Watford
  • 3pts Double at 3/1 (Ladbrokes)

Both Teams To Score Double

  • Northampton v Doncaster
  • Barrow v Salford
  • 1pt at 2/1 (Ladbrokes)

Over 2.5 Goals Treble

  • Bradford
  • Cheltenham
  • Elgin
  • 1 point at 9/2 (Ladbrokes)

A roll up of all 7 pays 70/1, 0.5pts.

Good luck with your bets today. Desmond.

    Hi Desmond

I only really pop into the sight on Saturdays, and I am an avid follower of your selections. I saw with shock today at the news of Paul`s sad passing. I did not have much interaction with him, but what there was was always informative & friendly. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your long time friend, and I would like to send my condolences to his family & loved ones. Rest in peace Mr.Fixit.

    Good luck today Desmond

Thanks for taking the time Desmond in such a dark and sad moment in time for your predictions.

As i have said in a previous message. If there is heaven, i hope there is a bookies up there, if not, then Paul will rectify this.

Have a wee drink on Paul from me and all the other grateful followers.

    Walk on big man.
